But, it's not. One can argue the same for rock music when the bass keeps playing the same notes until the chorus.

Then they also don't have talent. I know a lot of rock that doesn't have the same note on the bass and there aren't the same three chords on the guitar.
I hate Sundays so much. Don't want to go to school tomorrow. At least I start Drivers Ed.

Spent a few minutes on Facebook, and I concluded that my generation really is as doomed as everyone makes it out to be. A few things annoyed me were people saying how bad their life sucked. They have a nice apartment, good parents, friends, never picked on, internet, and a computer to post on Facebook. I'm sorry, but your life, in fact, does not suck.
Another thing that annoys me is when someone posted they loved their girlfriend. When someone asked how they know this (because they've dating for about two weeks) the person replied, "Because she's beautiful". If that's your only reason on why you love someone, you don't really love them at all. So what's the worst part of this? When people think of high schoolers, they think of these people. Not the sane few who have more than two brain cells left.
The last week will be pretty cool. Three days of school, two of those are half days. Monday is Memorial Day, so we have that day off. Tuesday is finals. Wednesday is finals and a half day. Thursday is the Talent Show and final pep-rally, as well as a half day. And Friday is the first day of summer.

It's an age thing. You might know it as "being a teenager". It starts around the time you enter eighth grade, and it clears up around the age of seventeen. Nor is it an entirely new concept; ever since there have been teenagers, there have been those who think their quality of life is poor for a variety of minor reasons.

You're missing the point. I'm not sitting here actually making that argument.
I'm saying that while you sit there & say, "Rap/Pop has no talent & it's just the same beat", one can argue that whatever you like is "x" and "y" as well.

At my school, we just sing. Someone once called our school 'High School Musical without the dancing.' One time, the entire lunchroom plus a wood shop class sang Yellow Submarine.

Awesome! Because I like Burnout 3's soundtrack. Blast them with Rise Against's Paper Wings or Jimmy Eat World's Just Tonight!
