Tape-ripping competition in Sports Medicine?

I'm unstoppable. Except...

Instructor: "Pass the tape forward"
*Does that*
Inst.:"Thanks Tall Man!"
Me: "Im Ryan."
Inst.:"I know. But you're really tall, so, you know."
*Walks away*
Emily(Who I sort of have a crush on, sitting next to me):"Haha, Tall man"
Me:"Whats wrong with that?"
Emily: "It's just funny"
*Instructor comes back, Emily hands her the tape*
Inst.: "Thanks Peaches!" *Walks away*
Me: "How funny is it now, peaches?"
Emily:"..."

Presentation in AP English? Dream Squad, we rocked it.

American Gov? Yeah. Owning the tests.

High School is basically easy.

My teachers are pretty nice people - much better than the ones I had in Junior High. The majority actually have likable humor as well. In a academic perspective though, it's going to be very tough. But a nice thing about it is that there's Study Hall so I can get a bit of a start on whatever work that's assigned.

Today is our high schools first home (American) football game of the year. I'm really excited. Not because it's football, I can't stand football, but because I am in band and we are doing a really cool pre-game show this year. The problem is, I think hardly anyone at my school cares about the band. I'm sure that's the case at want schools. I understand that the football team works hard, but so do we and I don't feel we get the credit we deserve.

Plus, my school is full of annoying people who are huge football fans and think it's the greatest thing ever, and our school likes to celebrate them. A lot. Yuck.

I have a question for those people who don't go to high school in the U.S., particularly Europe. Does your school do a big (European) football game every week, whether it be home or away? If so, does the band play at it? What else happens?

Worse thing that can happen in a high schoolers year : Liking the same girl as your best friend. This is going to be a bloody war.

Happened to me before. Didn't affect our friendship though, and she hates both of us now, so it's all good. Talked to her for the first time in years towards the end of last school year, wondered why we ever liked her.

If you mean going on a school trip, then no.

If you mean the school plays at a football game, then no.

And, to be honest, I'm quite glad.

We have a team, they just don't play much, let alone at major matches.

That seems odd. As much as I hate.(American) football and many of the players, it's an exciting thing. It's a shame you don't get that experience.

Theres something distinctively brilliant about an American Football game in High School. In California, it's kind of a "Big Deal".

I played for 3 years, and it was brilliant. But this year, watching has it's own flare. All of your mates around, at night, watching your other mates play such a sport... its freaking brilliant. I love it.

Watching the game is a completely different experience. You cheer your mates playing, flirt with a cheerleader, and have fun at a "victory party". What position did you play as? I was a runner/quarterback. I was hated amongst rival teams because I would always find an opening and "sack" their quarterback.

I miss high school. It was a fun experience. I miss French class cause I got to sit next to the hottest girl in our school. And then me and my friends always used to sneak out of study hall and go to the gas station next door and buy cigarettes and some donuts and then come back right before study hall ended. The only thing I hated was these kids with their sooped up cars always used to give me a hard time cause I just had a '95 Civic EX that really wasn't all that fast. That's okay though because me and my friends used to toilet paper the crap out of their houses every year.

How could you sack someone if you were playing QB?

I played Defensive End, and Offensive Guard. Spent a considerable amount of time on-field when I wasnt injured.

My buddy plays Nose Tackle and anywhere they need him on the Offensive line. He likes playing both sides of the ball, because he knows what the opposition is going to attempt when he is blocking or rushing the qb. He can run too, not really quick but he can run through people, he wants to play fullback. Anyways, I woke up at 2pm to find mom bought a bunch of school supplies today. It's 2 weeks till school starts, where did the summer go?

👍 I had a 5 month summer, and its almost gone. :(

Just had my first day of high school in a new state at a new school where I don't know anyone, and everyone knows each other because they all went to the same middle school together. The classes were okay, but I have no friends. :(

Think I'm getting used to the walk to the middle school for band. Good think I don't have gym also, else I would probably be too exhausted to even play, which is hard enough as it is now to hit the high notes.
