High School

High school is okay with the exception of the small lunches, football practice, and biology. The lunches are small enough that it won't feed me, they should learn how to feed us more than 1 slice of pizza, and small amount of tatter tots. Football, to me is a fun painful sport, but a 2 1/2 hours worth of practicing monday to wednesday, not worth a living for. I having problems controlling my team mates, either because they are not paying attention, or just stupid as 🤬. Also I keep complaining about being hungry to my mom (since of the long practice, and small lunches), and I can't GT5 when I get home, since i'm feeling sore, and tired from practice. The worse thing about my high school is mainly biology. My teacher is always making us do work, which leads this to my most hated subject. The truth about my biology teacher is that she bores the hell out of me. Many of us (including me)all feel the same about this class. To me, not a fun start to the freshman year, but I got a long road ahead. :)

My dad works out regularly, and has done so his entire life, though he doesn't do it quite as much as he did, say, 5 years ago. Back when he was at his fittest, I could always remember him eating, all the time. He must have eaten 3 bowls of granola a day, and those were just snacks. Chicken, vegetables, and protein drinks for all the regular meals. So, I'd suggest you get some protein power, mix it with a drink (I think it tastes alright with orange juice), and drink that after practice. Even after just a few sips, they'll fill you up. As for soreness, that's a problem my dad encounters all the time now from years of hard training. His is more severe than what you have, but he has ways of dealing with it. Whenever he's sitting down, he almost always has an ice pack on him, or a heat pack; he alternates between the two. I'm sure you already know this, being in football and all, but remember to stretch properly. I'm not even athletic, or even active for that matter, but if I don't stretch just right, I get all screwed up. Good stretching goes a long way.
Hope I helped. :)

In Spanish someone nearly got a concussion. We were playing a game called fruit salad where we all sit in a circle and given different professions like dentist etc, and when said profession is called out in Spanish we run to an empty chair, last one to sit down is out. Anyway a guy called Andy sprinted to the chair across the class, jumped backwards to get into the chair and another guy pulled it away and he flew into the table and smashed the back of his head on it. He got up and almost fainted. Funny but shocking at the same time.

Well my Japanese class again was fun. We watched a movie, our teacher got mad at a student so she threw a trash can into the hallway, took a math test in history class (apparently it's city laws) and did nothing in English class

As did I, our class (along with teacher) just discussed Facebook and social networking sites when we were meant to be doing notes for 'Of Mice and Men', was really fun :)

I did my last day of heavy machinery at tech today, honestly really liked that class. Was jus moving dirt with skid steers again today. But only one more rotation (welding) until I can pick my main course which'll be auto tech.

I had a listening exam in French today. I got almost the same score as I got in the reading one on Monday, so I got a D in both. They were Foundation tier ones though, so the highest I could've got was a C. I only got a D in the reading because I'm sure I saw tomatoes in the question... turns out it was carrots in the question and I mis-read it, so I put fruit instead of vegetables . My friend did the same, only he put fruit because he thought carrots were fruits... this is the guy who gets straight A's on his exams. He literally has no common sense, all he knows is the stuff he needs to know for exams, and that's it.

EDIT: Oh, and the guy I sit next to in ICT said he saw my mum again. He knew the registration plate perfectly, which was slightly creepy. He told me he wanted to build a Mini and get into autograss. At first I thought he meant autocross, but no, autograss exists too . I told him I wanted to get into Junior Rallycross, but we don't have enough money for a car to race and a team. He told me he used to race with his dad, and he was his dad's co-driver, but they retired after the accelerator got stuck to the floor in their car and they went over a jump, totally missed the landing point and landed pretty hard elsewhere, and his dad broke his back.

Sleep? LOL

Im going to the Party-instead-of-going-to-the-lame-homecoming-dance Party tonight at my mates house. Last night we ditched the Homecoming game and went for dinner. Pretty fun, this high school thing. Until Sunday, with all the homework.

I'm currently "Winning" in my cooking class. So far, no one has been able to carry out the recipe as well as I have.

Volleyball games are WHERE IT'S AT. The game itself is exciting, and you can usually get a group of friends together on a weeknight. And swim meets? Noone goes to watch, so you can hang out with all of your mates on the swim team.

Monster- Freshman Football? And you thought you'd have time for GT5? I never did. Just focus on Football. Or Bio.
I got a bit tired of Football, practice in the summer and such. Hopefully you keep the passion alive. Position?

You think that stuff prevents you from sleep? Try four hour practices after school for marching band and all day Saturday, plus 4 advanced classes.

Now I will rant about marching band. Everyone thinks it is so easy, especially physically. That really pisses me off because it's hardcore. You might as Well be running the whole time at the speed we march.

It's really that hard? Wow, that makes me really grateful we don't have one. We only have 1 public performance each year, and we just stand either outside or inside the location for that, and for the football game we play at, we just sit in the stands. Speaking of pep band, I wish my band director didn't make every pep band performance mandatory. I hate sports like basketball and American football, so I don't understand why I have to sit through all of that just so that I won't fail the class.

You must have a pretty killer band. Our Jazz Band (We dont march as much) only does once a day after school until all the Winter Musicals start.

Mock Trial and Student Government require more time commitment than you can probably imagine.

Jazz bands don't march.

I'm sure they do but band is more than a time commitment. You pretty much sign away your life for three months.

Just found out that me and 2 other people from my year are going to be racing in the shcool karting asociation national championship next season! its in the typical kiddies Honda 390cc industrial engined karts. and we have an MSA license holder who has raced before, I have some experience, and we have to choose between a complete novice who seems keen, or one of my best mates who has been karting before, several times.

who we choose could be crucial. i know that if we dont do well as a team, it will only weaken our chances of continuing in racing...

Did well in orchestra seating auditions today and biology went by fast. It's a Monday though so I feel like complete sh**
