High School

Had gym class today, we were supposed to run the mile but it was raining so we did our fitness tests and then went to McDonalds.

Oh, the irony.

Am I the only one whose interested in subjects which are considered 'dull', I like History, Economics, and languages (yes, I did take French and Spanish for GCSE). :(

I like History and Business Studies, the latter because I know everything we are currently learning about. I despise Spanish though, and didn't take French.

And Computing's fun. We had to code a basic program, and I finished before a load of the kids who code in their spare time. Despite having never coded anything really before. :dunce:

Poverty and Public Health. Not much fun.

Also my coursework is not good, the evolution of democracy in the 19th century, and how men got the vote. However, aside from this, I thoroughly enjoy history.

Not done that so don't know. I found politics 1918 to 51 interesting so thats why I questioned what you found boring as most people seem to see politics as boring.

The reasons fo National Prohibition in the USA for coursework isn't great but not terrible. The boom and bust is better which is our other choice.

Oh I like politics in general, both past and present ... Just not how we slowly and painfully acquired: a) Sanitation, b) Welfare and c) the vote. I have friends doing your one, it doesn't sound too bad. At least it looks up after this term finishes :)

The Boy's Varsity Soccer team at my school hasn't run the mile yet, the rest of us did it the first week of school. I've always lucked out since my birthday is in November, so the fall test I would always be at a lower standard than everybody else.

I'm learning how to play hockey (pass, dribble, etc) in P.E. it's fun and I'm not that bad at it either. I'm in 2nd form (im 13) 5"7 and school is great for me.

I walk it. I lose class points but I don't really care. Too lazy to be bothered to run XD. When I do run I wear out fast though but I average low 9 minutes.

I play music on an iPod and enjoy the 10-12 minute relaxing cold morning jog. I feel like I'm the only person in my class that got excited and stayed excited after feeling the 40 degree air.

I ran 1.5 miles for a hockey class (counted as a gym class) in high school. The first time (beginning of semester) it was absolute agony. The second time it was great.

I would love to go jog outside, especially during this time of year. Unfortunately, my gym classes are completely indoor this year. It's badminton/volleyball for me this year. We never went outside to jog, though. I never do it on my own, but if I'm going to be bothered to go to school, I could really enjoy some time outside exercising.

Had P.E today, didn't do it as always. Keeping my record of not doing P.E since June 2011.

Now I feel so lucky that we were never forced to run any great distance in P.E. It's always been football, or when we're inside, dodgeball (y) Well apart from Year 9 where I didn't do P.E at all as I was suffering from a knee injury.

Got a 104% in my History Essay test. Whoopteedo...

Plus, I ALMOST got into a fight with a guy in my school...

Oh no don't do that. We don't need you killing anyone else. ;)

Does anyone here know Japanese? Gotta figure out what person likes what flavor of ice cream and I'm stuck on the last question
トームスクンハコーセーがすきです

You know your friends are awesome when you can go up to one of them and quote asdfmovie with them XD On an added note... I LIKE TRAINS!

I love History, and I took French, it's just that I don't really enjoy modern-day politics.

Speaking of History, I had it double today, and in both lessons we were learning about Henry Ford. I think I was the only person who found that lesson interesting .

"You can have it in any colour you want, as long as it's black."

Well, we're doing the Rise of the Nazis in History at the moment. I find it pretty interesting myself, and next year we're doing the Russian Revolution, and I can't say I'm not looking forward to it :P

And the general view of him?
