Bull it has 1000hp, your just trying to get people to like you. :)

no bulls there. just regular oil changes and you can get 999hp (~1000) from Supra for short while.

currently mine car haves anymore 904hp left. đź‘Ť

short while? christ ive been oiling mine up from the beginning of its days and still it doesnt budge! anyways.............

i want to know what method you use to get top speed. i tend to go on the test ring, fly down the first straight, carry the speed round the first bend and then NOS down the straight. i carry about 248mph of speed round the corner, then NOS to up to 295mph. ill get a screeny for you in the next couple of days just for proof.

i guess that your cars had high mileage when you bought them?.

mine car haves under 400km on tripmeter ;)

the minimum is 10k therefore this must be bs

for used car: 10.0 kilometers is minimum, not 10,000 kilometers.
so face the facts and STFU.

i just bought a 1994 Skyline GT-R (used car)

*oh look... it haves only 10 kilometers at the tripmeter*

best place for top speed has gotta be the test ring though, tell us what you can get on there NIZmOsPeCv. im still hitting around 295mph, any advice?

thanks for your help dark elite, with your hints and some other setup-changes i managed to get 293,9 mph on the test track. but i think this is the end of my supra........but i will try to get more and more.

my advice is:

*no downforce
*25 auto-setting on gearbox, then tweak the final ratio accordingly (lower = higher top speed/lower accel, higher = lower top speed, increased accel)
*all aids off
*65 -> 70 shot NOS, whichever seems to work best (bearing in mind 65 shot can be applied earlier into your run)

my method is using the test ring on free run (NOT top speed attempt) which allows you to have as many runs around the ring as possible. accelerate until just before the 2nd straight and use NOS until the end of the straight. this has got me just below 296mph.

viperpilot, that is probably the end of your Supra's days! Excessive speed has a tendancy to rip the cars apart, with extra strain on the chassis and engine doing damage... *considers*... meh! I don't care, I wanna go fast anyway!

i know what you mean, but i wanna break through the 300mph with my supra!!

i reached 296mph with my supra, that's the end :indiff:

but maybe with a 10.0km supra i will break through the 300

i might try that squeek i'll get back with pics.. đź‘Ť

viperpilot, try lowering the NOS a bit, if you have it at 70, try 65, if its already at 65, try 60, it makes the nitrous oxide last longer :)

interested to see the outcome of all these super supras :)

mwahaha. should I join the competition with my black, 10 km Supra RZ '97? đź’ˇ it hasn't been worn out, and it does 180mph with just an oilchange.. :sly: :mischievous:

just curious, does higher mileage slow the car? Just wanted ti know because my 97 rz had well over 40k on it when i bought it.

*ahem* am I good or what..? 300 mph in Supra RZ '97.. I'll try to get a proper pic to you asap, but I got 480.19 km/h or 300 mph.. I hope I'll find a proper way to get pics from the PS2 to my comp. cam phone->webcam does horrible things to quality.. :ouch:

my settings:everything from Tom's, but no original suspension, i think that the racing suspension is better..

888bhp

susp:

spring rate 10/10
ride height as low as possible
dampers 10/10 and 5/5
camber 3.5/0.0
toe 0/0
stabs 7/7

transmission:

auto 25

final 2.700

1st:2.554
2nd:1.637
3rd:1.158
4th:0.864
5th:0.680
6th:0.600

nos 70, downforce 0/0

beat that.. :mischievous:

and picture to prove it: Supra RZ'97 @ 300mph

and yes, higher mileage does slow the car down as the engine wears out. someday I'm gonna test how badly the engine/car can suffer..

Mine went 215, but I didn't put the transmission auto set past 15...It's at 15 now, but I don't like the long gear ratios. If I put the auto set to 25 and messed with the final, I think I couldn 300 or something :)

congrats leonidae!! i'm gonna try my supra tomorrow again. maybe i'm gonna beat you!!

which tyres are you using leonidae? i'm using R5's
