Holy ****

Wtf is that cpu cooler?!

Is that one of those motherboards that are two different parts and one slots into the other?

Nope - The "thing" with five fans on it is the Voodoo 5 6000 gfx card....

Cpu coolers could look like that back in the days of slotted processors :D (mine did)

 I realise that.

Thanks for answering my second question without realising it 👍

I remember when 3DFX actually wanted that to go into production. The funny thing is that new video cards today are starting to be just as big!

No, Cobraboy. That is a video card. The motherboards you speak of are LPX and NLX form factors for slim line computers. They have Riser cards that connect to the bottom (or near the bottom) of the motherboard, extend out at a 90 degree angle, and expansion cards connect to the Riser card parallel to the motherboard to form an 'U' shape. Confusing, no?

Not at all, thats what I said in my post and I have one sitting out in my garage.

Just asking was all.

And you see the big silver heatsink with the fan ontop in the backgound? That's what I was talking about.

See?

But on my one, the PCI and ISA slots are on the vertical pcb, whereas in the picture above the cpu is on the vertical pcb.

Thats what I was asking about, but Flerbizky answered it without knowing.
