WHY IS THE GOD-DAMN HKS 180SX IN THE TEST COURSE RACE IN THE TUNED TURBO CUP??
it's impossible to beat, even with my 630hp race-modded Skyline GTR V-specII (R32):banghead: any ways of winning that race without being a wuss and buying a Suzuki Escudo?

Are you kidding me? You can win that race with about 400hp! Set your gears right, draft the other cars, and it's a snap to win that one.

Are you kidding me? You can easily win that race with about 400-500hp!

Set your gears right, draft the other cars, and it's a snap to win that one. I've won it against the Drag Car with as little as 370hp.

how do you actually change gear ratios, cos i always find that buying close gearing lowers the cars top speeds

yea, there are a ton of cars that you can win in. just keep it floored around the bends in lower hp cars and the lead you build up is easy to keep ;)

I always use a Supra RZ..
Give it full everything mods, soft tires, and put the gearbox slider to 25, and the race is butter.
I usually win by 30-40 seconds.

Edit: The best part being, theres no skill involved. You just hold down left (no tapping whatsoever) and the car turns like its on rails. Straights at 230 and turns at 200.

Like Pupik said its all about drafting. Lets say your car maxes out about 220mph with about 700 rpm to go. If you draft you will hit 240 forsure! :sly:
