My friend's got a 970 Strix i think so i'd be surprised he could play it(even then he has Windows 7 so he would need Windows 10 too.) With a 1080 it should be good enough.

Don't be suprised if you could play at 4K60fps. They where playing in 4K 60fps at the event so you are pretty safe .

This game is simply gorgeous, it's going to be a long summer now...

But, as always with a FH game, I want more details on the map size. They really need to go all out with this one and give us a proper representation of Australia. As with FH and FH2, the quality is there, but the replayability takes a hit because of the smaller map size. I don't want to unlock all the roads in two hours.... What I want to hear is the map is 4 times the size, not 2x. Or put another way, I want it to take 45 minutes to drive across the entire map, not 22.5.

If you pre-order the game digitally (not the disc version), you'll get it on both W10 and XB1.

BlackPanthaa has had a go on FH3. Not much new here, but notice how the traffic car had a ton of debris flying off it at 2:11:

It's documented on the official forum that map size is twice the size of H2.

Silly question, currently have one Xbox in the home, but two windows 10 PCs. If I purchase a digital version of FH3 on either the Windows or Xbox store using my Live account, and I my brother does the same on his, will we each be able to play on our respective PCs or are we confined to the Xbox? I'm just curious if the purchase is tied to the Live account (I think it is) or is there something in place that restricts it to the Xbox?

I knew that it would be able to run at 4K but I forgot that one would be able to push the frame rate to that degree, I don't think that Scorpio will have enough horsepower to do that unless it costs an arm and a leg. I might just build a monster PC and keep my regular fatty Xbone but then Scorpio seems promising. So many decisions! I hate/love this...

I'm scared as well of going the PC route and spending thousands because I know I'll want to play Forza at the highest settings, that's what I loved of consoles, buy the hardware once and forget about the upgrade hobby.

We'll have to see how AMD prices the Radeon rx 480 in Australia, a single card "has 5 Tera flops" if cheap enough I might build a crossfire PC, that'd be heaps more powerful than Scorpio but, but, but... that's what I hate so many ifs. But here's the real if for me, if they announce that Forza 7 will be Rift compatible then I'll go all out on a PC, I've been waiting since I was 10 to experience something like that and Forza I think is totally worth the investment.

Fingers crossed. I'm enjoying the wider FoV on FM6 much more, on Horizon I barely use cockpit view. I'd be pleasantly surprised if a slider really makes its way into the game, especially if it's more in the Rocket League direction of freedom.

I've seen something mentioned on the Forza forums that threw me off: While the game can be played on a Windows 10 PC in general , it seems like it's not explicitly stated that you can play the game without owning an Xbox at all It's a no-brainer to assume so, but now that I've seen it mentioned, I'm a little scared of throwing a hundred bucks at Microsoft only to be told that I need to "activate" the game on an Xbox One to unlock it on Windows 10 or something .

Am I just being stupid or might this be a valid concern?

That's what I wanted to hear.

I think they'd be setting themselves up for an outrage unlike any before it and God knows what sort of lawsuits and whatnot. Still. It's Microsoft and getting the game on Win10 just like that seems too good to come without some sort of catch
