the maintenance required to keep a pc at top performance, although is much less hassle now, still will never be comparable to "press ON & play"Eh, not the case for me, really. It was never the games that stopped me from getting a rig, but the sheer price and constant upgrading(not so constant really, but compared to a console, I would say so) that has swayed people in the direction of consoles.
A game that has a locked FPS, be it 30 or 60, will always look great. The visual difference is not that noticeable, but if you switch back to FM, than the difference will be apparent. Not a bad thing though. All FM games have ran flawlessly.
while for many this never was a problem, as we grow up we realize that not all our friends have the appetite or time to spend in non-playtime when they allocate time to play.
