All right, kiddies, it's peeve of the week rant time.

Enough with the 'hot chicks / babes / celebs / models' crap!

I'm male. I'm as heterosexual as 90% of the people out there. I may be well into my late 30s but the thought of sex crosses my mind frequently even during stress or work times. I remember what it was like to be 15. I've actually had sex with a real live woman so I know exactly what I'm missing when I'm staring at the computer instead.

Yet I'm not compelled to post 10,000 threads asking who the 'hottest celeb' is or showing pictures of 'hottt chix' or boasting about my size or skills or hang time. Certainly not in a forum dedicated to discussing Gran Turismo first and to being a community of cool folks second.

Give it a rest already! There are 10 million places on the web that anybody can go and ogle women of any type, in any level of undress, and with any number of 'friends' around. So GO THERE when you feel the urge. Why bring it here all the damn time? Why retread the SAME STUPID polls and the SAME STUPID pictures? We all like sex in some form or another. This is so immediately freaking obvious that only absolute morons need to bring the subject up endlessly...

...especially since the majority of you have no imagination at all, and just drool over whatever prefabricated "I've got a personal trainer and fake boobs" flavor-of-the-month female they happen to be selling you at the moment. Get the hell over it already. Indulge your libido as much as you wish and as you can get away with.

Just do it somewhere else.

I don't want to hear about it, and I'll bet that most people here don't want to hear it, either.

I've got no problem with discussing relationships here. Like I said, this is a community of cool folks. But nobody here (not even Klos) is going to get into a relationship with J Lo or Jessica Alba or Elizabeth Hurley or... you name her. If any of the rest of us have ever heard of her, I guarantee you'll never even see her in person, let alone boff her.

Yes, the porn thread posted on the GT3 board is the one that lit my fuse today, though 'hot chicks' have been a continual subtext throughout the Rumble Strip and a lot of annoying thread piracy everywhere else. Thanks for doing such a quick job of killing it, Alt-F8.

What I worry about most is actual porn on the site that some little kid's mom will see and get GTP shut down. We have to remember this is a video game site and because of that, lot's of minors.

Well played Sherlock.. I think that's only been said in nearly every post.

My point is that Jenifer Lopez in a bikini is not the same as porn. One is harmless, albeit inappropriate for GTP. The other is actually dangerous to GTP and even more stupid for that reason.

Can you "deduce" which is which?

Nudity is pretty self-deducing. Scantily-clad women/men in swim wear is not. I don't think that skimpy swimsuits/attire is terribly inappropriate. Porn is.

But, on a Gran Turismo website/forum, there is no need for it. Start up your own website dedicated to that stuff if you like it so much. Not here.
