Not many since I only see it a handful of times a year. I do have a couple of interior pics

But window. "Subtotal: $5,288.05"

Yeah. And even then nobody would buy them because they were just too freaking extreme. Don't tell me you have never heard stories about these and Superbirds sitting in dealers for years?

Oh, I know exactly what you're talking about.

I just think it's funny how much inflation of modern currency has changed how we look at the sticker prices these days.

Look where he's holding his hands, think he's trying to hide something

Love when the young kids are getting involved with muscle cars. Shows there's still hope for the next generation and that not all of them are into supercars 👍

I was about to say that I think he had to pee :lol::lol::lol::lol: I don't have a pic, but my cousin (don't know his age) had my grandfather pick him up on his last day of school in the 56 that I shared. He loved the ride.

The Novas tend to outnumber the Apollos and Venturas by a longshot. In fact, when I usually see a Ventura or Apollo for sale on craigslist, it's usually just a base model. There are a few Venturas I can find, but the only two Apollos I can find for sale are both V-6 sedans.

I see Novas all the time. Venturas not so much. Never seen an Omega in person that I can remember or an Apollo.

That ones definitely a Ventura though. They can be cool cars will a little love. Although my dad had one and hated it haha.

My dad had 68 Coronet R/T when he was growing up. He always told stories of how my grandmother hated it since it had a 150 mph speedometer and how the only he owned everything but 396 Camaros back in the day. He sold it after going 130 on a slick road and skidding through a cornfield. He still regrets selling it, but if he did that today, he'd be dead since a tree is growing at the very spot he skidded off at. He almost bought a Satellite that was pretty similar to it recently, but he bought a Harley instead.

I grew up during the muscle car era and was able to enjoy them when they were new. Sure wish I still had some of them. One of my hobbies is car restoration and a few years back I finished my dream car. There are still barn finds out there and I found one, a '59 Chevy Impale. Unfortunately it was a six cylinder with a power glide transmission. It was stripped down to nothing but a frame, and work started ftom there.

The suspension and brakes were all updated, with discs all around. I found an engine out of an unfortunate C06 Corvette. It was mated to a 6 overdrive speed manual tranny, with a 3.06 rear end. I was originally thinking of replacing the 6 banger with a big block, but I wanted to be able to afford to drive it.

From the outside it looks completely stock, but it is far from it. On one round trip from Montana to the 4th of July race at Daytona I was able to exceed the 30 mpg mark on the highway and it is one fantastic highway cruiser.

I would love to post a few pics, but I am new to the forum and haven't figures out how yet.

Dude YES. I love LOVE LOOOOVE the 59 Chevrolets, those wings at the back absolutely do me in. I also found one years ago, MANY years ago, I was a little brat, so not even think about buying it  but I've always liked these cars.

To post pictures of your ride, click on the "upload a file" button in the reply area and simply choose the pic you want to show us, it'll be uploaded tio GTPlanet and inserted directly into your post. And do post pcis, I SO want to see your car!

Here's a couple rat rods at a car show and an NHRA Funny Car doing a burnout. I tried to get a shot of as much smoke as possible which is why I zoomed out a lot.

Here are the pictures, but a little out of order. It was about a year long project in my spare time but after finally finding the car that I wanted, I had a hard time getting away from it. Thought it would take over 2 years, but the barn find was in such great shape, very little time was lost looking for parts.
