They are originally supposed to help you do circuitry. The two alligator clips on each end hold your board, and there's supposed to be a magnifying glass attachment that goes in the center. This frees your hands up from having to hold onto those things when soldering tiny signal points.

Now you can actually find the very same thing without the magnifying glass sold to hobbyist like us.

I'd find it more useful if whoever decided to market it to us shortened the arm span, because it barely has a good grip on the castings.

What I love using instead is alligator clips attached to shortened skewers, because you can make plenty and stab them all into a block of foam

I recently completed a series of diorama's as part of a art show.

All dioramas were made by hand featuring LED's that I wired myself. The cars used are all customs that I have completed over the last year.

It was a lot of fun installing them in the space.

Any cars with those wheels. That doesn't quite answer your question, but a lot of cars have those wheels.

Realr Riders are neat and all, but personally, I wouldn't go head over heels for them just because they're real riders. Sometimes, it's the other wheels that fit much better on cars.

I usually use whatever my idea calls for. RRs or not, the idea in my head usually looks good either way. My original idea for my Fastbed Hauler called for just basic wheels, but then I remembered that there's the Italian Job Mini. Two cars for one project. One was going to have Real Riders, the other not. Until I thought of the one Pop Culture car.

True. I am actually wanting to take the black torq thrusts off my GTO and put some MC5's on it instead since it's a better match.

Hey guys, quick question: do you think one of my customs projects in the future should be a pickup with a flat trailer made from scratch? And possibly something to go on the trailer?

I ask because I've been throwing the idea around in my head, but I can't reach a decision, so I'd like to hear what you think.

Depends really, if you like doing dioramas, you could always make a tow truck picking up a broken down car or even create an accident. Just thoughts, iam into creating drift scenes out of something like initial d.

I was thinking old pickup with a trailer, and an oval track racer on the trailer.

The drift scenes sound really cool.
