I found an older year Genesis that has darker plastic but with shipping the cheapest price is 13$. May go for that if the bottle thing doesn't work.

I've got a few of them, just cuz I like the wheels it comes with. I can only find the midnight purple one. Whats colors have you guys found it in?

If found it in that rare invisible color, you know where you look and just can't seem to find it anywhere.

Yeah I know what you mean, I've got heaps of Datsun 610 or 1600s like that. Lol what I would do to get one of them, could go with my invisible r31 skyline lol.

Update on the box van.
Primed this afternoon.

One coat krylon metal primer.
Oh, and hit the interior with some white. It was ugly bright red. Not done with it yet.

Gonna finish that up tomorrow. Weather permitting. Also, I was mowing my back yard today and dredged this old matchbox cop car out of the mud. After a good clean and soak, it's not bad. It's a crown vic. Lightbar is broke, and the inside still has some mud. Not sure what to do with it yet. Was thinking maybe just touch it up, and either remover or replace the light bar, and maybe dragster it out.

Wasn't much I could think of to do with it so I just filled in the holes where the siren was, resprayed and lowered the crap out of it. Lots of interior chopping to get it to fit.

It would still look wacky since the window proportions are obviously off. (Unless @Missfrost goes for the wacky look on purpose.)
Don't have the tools for such an extensive mod I have bin stealing my brothers tools he said girls should not be in to modifying litle cars but I like it thx for the tips I will do what I can to make it look cool :)

True that, but it isn't as bad as that spoiler.

Get to it! Can't wait to see

Small detailing job maybe?
This ^ @Missfrost. Maybe carefully remove the Hotwheels logo (but keep The Judge and stripes). Acetone is what most people use for tampo removal, though nail varnish may work too. I think a bit of black paint pen on the exhaust holes, grill and blower too.

As for your BMW @Ameer67 I'd start by removing that rear spoiler maybe. I don't know what else to suggest, as iv'e never tried anything like that before.

Finally managed a bit of putty sculpting on the Mazda. The side with the Watanabes needs some final touches, but i'm pretty happy so far. Decided to add a small duck tail spoiler at the rear. After iv'e primered i'll get started on the roll bar.

What's under the front lip in the first picture? is that the chassis? Hangs low. Loving it though.
Thanks. 👍 And yes, it's the chassis. It does actually sit a little lower than the body even when attached properly, although i haven't attached it properly yet.

A friend sent me this as inspiration for that gto

I'd have to re spray with proper paint shave the headers of and defenetly redo the spoiler and level the ride but I don't have real riders to put on it and I won't get to do the interior that bums me out what do you guys think

that's going to turn out awesome, the bottom set of wheels suit it better IMO but its going to turn out awesome.

So, thanks to the lack of good picture qualities of my iPhone, here's what I have. I edited it with Aviary only so you can see the glimmer of the blue I used, although it makes it look like there are blobs and the like on it, which there aren't haha. Here's what I have so far:

Tasty. Like the blue.
Looks like you had better success with putty today than I did. Don't ask. Lol

So this thing makes me so mad. I don't like the casting, but I wanted to do something with it, since I spent the money for the real riders that were on it. So as I showed, I slowly have been working on the dumb van delivery thing. All was well. Primed, ready to paint in the nice glossy white I ha...wait a minute. Oh I was wrong. The gloss white I thought we had was actually a white primer. Crap. Ah well. Maybe with enough clear. So I painted, left it to dry for a day. Then because I'm a cheapo, and I don't feel like tryin to do tampos quite yet, I hand lettered this thing and it actually looked pretty good. Not show quality but Good. Let it dry good, then clear coated. And then everything rolled downhill. The letters smeared and that side only collected dust. The front oddly seem to lose paint on the edges. Despite this I kept on, just to try to keep my cool. Well. It dried nice, and the back and other side still looked good. Until I opened the back door and messed up the doorframe paint. Oh well. Learning experience. On the plus side, my one body modification came out stellar, and the interior isn't too shabby. Observe!

Sprayed white completely, then used sillver sharpie to do the dash gauges, the floor ridges, and floor damage, from boxes sliding around and what not. Don't have a picture, but the tab on the doors is also silver. Seat and steering wheel with black sharpie.

My now horrible blurry lettering. Said Jun Imai courier service, till it smeared. Oh well

Back end with silver lock and tiny graffiti tags. Thanks @Nessy and @AOS- for use of names for tags XD you can also see the damaged bit down there in the corner.

IMAG0263_zps79ed5b7a.jpg~320x480

Now on to the other side which faired a lot better to the clear coat than the other for some odd rea... Wait. What the...

IMAG0264_zps76331373.jpg~320x480

Oh come on @Cano ! Isn't doing your own cars enough for ya!

IMAG0260_zps96896cef.jpg~320x480

All fun aside, this side actually came out decently. Also hand lettered. Sharpies. You an kinda see where it faded out some, but I felt like it went with the graffiti spray paint thing. I did Cano's name cause it was short enough to fit, and as a bit of respect for all the nasty hotness He and Ahmed drop all the time.

So the best bit, or at least the one I'm most proud of. The roof. When it started it had grooves all down it. And I didn't like them. So I filled them and smoothed it all out.

IMAG0267_zps5acbf05d.jpg~320x480

You can see the weird front fade too.

So yea a. This will probably stay like this till I get more paint stripper. Then back to the drawing board.

That's coming along great.

@Nvrrespected.

That turned out ok, I mean the smear wasn't what we wanted but the graffiti idea and what you did is awesome in my opinion. Trial and error buddy and that turned out ok for a first attempt at that style. Don't be so hard on yourself.
