Defo the rear set mate. Leave the car that nice red, make some small bolt on looking fender flares, painted black and the wheel swap with the rear set and done IMO.

I was thinking of leaving it red, but no to the black fenders. Was thinking maybe a rally or track car of some kind. Martini livery over the red maybe. 👍

Fronts by a mile. They look like Campagnolos, the others look like it's trying too hard to appear on Speedhunters.
I actually quite like the rear wheels, but if I go with an extreme track or rally Abarth, I think I'm with you on the fronts. 👍

Yeah if your going rally style I agree with you but if your going martini livery, should spray it white and go like the Williams f1 martini livery.

I hear what you're saying, but I'm still really tempted to go red with black accents. Lancia have done some tasty Martini liveries with that colour scheme, in the past.

Oh I like the red to but the white will allow you to see the red stripe in the martini logo, kinda goes missing falling into a red background.

Yeah, it's just a case of personal preference. I really do like the Martini livery on white (always have), but to me it seems overplayed. I've lost count of the amount of customs with the white Martini livery, same can be said with the Gulf livery. Becomes a bit boring, a bit stale, hence the want to try something different. And I really like the red version, slightly more than the white.

Red Martini ain't so bad. The fact that whoever thought of choosing something other than white and still managing to look visually satisfying is pretty good.

Yeah you make a good point, reguardless which way you go, Iam sure it will turn out wicked anyway.

Cheers man. 👍

I'm actually faced with a bit of a dilemma. I bought this off ebay recently, and decided to test fit the wheels I had planned using for the Fiat 500. It's sitting a little high as the spring bar is still in place (can drop it a further 2mm). I think the wheels really suit it, though the problem is, I only have one set of those wheels.

Here's another quick wheel swap. This time a Majorette AMG GT with MBX wheels. The back set is sprung but the front isn't. I aim to fit them somewhere between the two.

Dude why are you even thinking about this? Drop that hipster-mobile in the trash and concentrate full time on this awesome project.

Ot you can always finally try yout hand at casting duplicates

and then send a couple sets or a mold over here (:

Yep, I'd buy one, fresh casting that is. I can't believe people have done this yet with 3d printers and such and make rare castings.

Still too expensive to do, if you want decent details. You're better off tying it the old-fashioned way, and in the case of complete castings, finding them for cheap to restore. Hell, even customized castings can be reproduced with the old resin-pouring method with greater detail than what a common 3d printer still give you.

Does someone know how to print custom decals with Inkjet printers in color without using expensive sticker papers?
You need inkjet specific water slide decal paper which will also require you to clearcoat the decals before applying so that the ink doesn't run.
