Buff up those dull windows.
I'm going to be keeping my MR2 a rally car.
Reminds me, have to finish mine. Will do that this weekend...
What's your preferred method of doing this, if you don't mind me asking?
I'm not sure if you guys remember me mentioning how I wanted to experiment with powder coating my cars or not, but the guy my dad works with that does it, finally got it done.
Apparently the oven he had bought took a long time to get, so that is why it has been so long.
Now, before you guys rip my head off for using such a car, I will first inform you that I wanted to use a car that I wouldn't get too bent out of shape about if it didn't come out well. Let me tell you, it came out "better than in the picture" as my dad said from this photo he sent me from work tonight.
Next to try: metal plating.
make a test first, that thing could be really corrosive :0
Hard to tell from the pic, but it looks like the powder-coating turned out quite well McZach. đź‘Ť
Cool looking blog Andy. Very stylish look to it. đź‘Ť
Yours was blue if I remember right. I know there is one in this thread, and it's the one that made me want to salvage mine.
Actually, I've heard many times before to use brake fluid to strip paint from plastic.
Never tried it myself, but Stacey David says it works!
