Honestly, yes - problem is it isn't true. In order to be able to vote, you need to be a registered voter. A drivers' licence isn't enough (nor is any other form of ID except a voter registration card). If a drivers' licence were enough, 16-year-olds could vote, because you can have your drivers' licence at 16 in most states.Originally posted by jay wilkie

i'm sitting watching them debate this loop hole on the an american news channel as we speak. i don't know about las vegas but this channel is talking about california. they are talking about voting for govenor. don't know how your system works but either this is true or these lawyers on tv dont know what their state laws are
