I had no particular goal at the moment but my previous goal was to take down 1st place in GTPD1. Hopefully there will be other well organized tournament on its way.

I wonder why didn't you sign up for vdc? Well organized and over 20 other drivers

Actually I got good in GT4 drifting The Trueno GT apex but between GT4 and playing prologue I forgot how. So in GT5 I just kept racing mostly Karts which will give you skill in breaking traction and counter steer....Also some Rally and just plain fast driving. All that culminated in me getting my skills up to speed.

My story...

I was once apart of the Forza Motorsport community until I released it's a bunch of kids whom think they know everything there is about drifting... So after I made everyone an enemy and realizing theres no one out there who can touch me... I gave up.
Funny thing is most people think I just talk and can't back it up but thats like telling me I'm not white. I'm not gonna waste my time.

I was always a huge fan of Gran Turismo buying a G27 and a PS3 was a must! Drifting with the best of the best has showed me I don't have much to work on. Other then being more consistent AND THATS WHAT DRIFTING IS ALL ABOUT! I already told Sai and King_b once I get better I'll be coming after that #1 spot!

So look out! lol

I hope soon enough you'll see my name in lights!

For real life... Been into drifting since I was 14 or 15 since the start of the Irish series and have had some friends doing it.
Got my first car which was also RWD in the shape of a E30 316i when I was 17 or 18 so learned in that... 100bhp complete with open diff and ****** suspension that I refused to weld or improve as wasn't going keeping the car for too long.

Then got a 318iS after that and was the first car I modded alot so improved suspension, rebuilt the LSD to 40%, quicker steering rack and a few other bits like an E46 M3 gearbox so 3rd gear drifting became a pretty regular occurrance :P

In the mean-time I was starting to build a dedicated drift car but with two or three change of plans and using a different shell and being busy with college and other stuff, I still have yet to finish it but hopefully will get stuck into it again soon now.

Been to almost every round of the Irish drift series the last 4 years as alot of my friends are competing so it helps keep my motivation to get my car ready to compete as soon as I can.

Goals in real life: mostly just to have fun and not too worried about not being at top level once I start competing properly and also to build more cars :)

In terms of video games....

Did a little bit of drifting on games like GT2, GT4 but nothing greater than exaggerated power-sliding and Scandinavian flicks to be honest.

Obviously on some of the piss easy games then like nfs shift etc.

Never really liked Forza, possibly because I don't really like xbox and secondly it really felt like sliding around on ice anytime I tried it.

First bit of drifting on GT5 was with my wheel in a friends place that I lent him for a few weeks as he got the game before me as I was in the middle of Christmas exams for college so thought better to not get it until they were over.

As I didn't give him my frame so was just the wheel mounted poorly on a coffee table... went to cape ring with a stock RX-7 and E46 M3 and it sucked, lol.

Couldn't even fish-tail or string one corner together without spinning around like a spinning thing :P

I got GT5 myself then however, played abit with the DS3 and started drifting my FD RX-7, RUF yellow-bird and then my E46 M3 became my first regular driftcar.

At first I wasn't even that great with the DS3 but after a night or two I was able to link tsukuba, grand valley and autumn ring etc and then to every track with backwards entries nearly everywhere I felt like trying it.

big inspiration was TwinturboCH on GT5 as I drifted with him quite abit over the winter and had some great sessions and he really gave me the motivation to get the hang of the wheel which I was useless with at the time considering he gives credit to drifting on video games is alot to where he is in drifting in real life today which is more or less the same reason I want to keep practicing on GT5 so it helps me in real life when I can't go out drifting etc due to my car not finished or off season etc.

At the moment, I'm able to link quite a few tracks with the wheel and follow a few guys like kingB and others that are very good reasonably well but still have alot to improve in consistency and perfecting my lines and also improving my control of the car to be able to put it exactly where I want it.

Goals? To drift the 'Ring 24 with the wheel perfectly obviously :)

Started drifting online with a DFP in 2005 or sometime, G27 later on, way too many hours doing it.. no goals, maybe i'll play when i have more time.
Who knows. ;)
