How do I add music to GT5

I am sure this question has bee asked before, sorry. How do I add music to GT5?

Songs I listen to while driving

Go the personal music thing. Then select custom on the option "race" and import from your PS3 music files.

It's in the Music option on the main menu.
It should be on the Race BGM, and there is an option that you can select that allows for your own music to be played.

When i do that, i only can listen to 1 number. I have 250 music numbers on my PS3. How can i listen to all of them?

On mine, I'd never imported any music, but I was able to load some songs onto a flash drive, plug it in, and then import them (in the PS3 menu), then choose them once I had GT5 started up, and I listen to those playlists now.

I'm fairly sure there are easier ways, though, but this way works for me.
