How fast can you lap Trial Mountain?

Aww, beat me to it.

Oh well, i got this GT40 time in, all upgrades with the exception of brake controller, TCS, ASM and a couple of other things, that i cant remember.

Racing soft tires, 652HP, 2200ibs.

Could have done way better, but i had this footage laying around, so why not upload it?

Also watch until the end, my car decided to be a plane for a few moments.

I'm Not sure about a 1:39 time, the fastest i could get the CRX to go,Completely stock, this includes tires, is a 140.358.
With the CRX Si, i drove 1:40.0 and my drive lines were not perfect. But getting the car to turn and not sliding is more important than the actual line with CRX.

You should try different braking methods, they can help you through understeer. Not to mention the scandinavian flick.
But 1:40.3 is nearly insane, we should do more hotlap challenges.

I also try to drift a little through Turn 5
Turn 5 could be anything, but i think you mean the same corner as shown below:

Maybe i should try doing my laps on arcade mode, with a ghost. I've been doing my laps on test runs before races, and maybe a ghost would visualize what I'm not getting right.

Wow, this thread is awesome! Big kudos for the idea! :)
I tried with the Cobra, too. Completely stock, 1:36.056 on Lap 4, pure luck.

I don't know why you guys keep telling it's impossible to get under 1:40 in the CR-X. I already did it twice. Oh, never mind.
I'll give you a whole bowl of cookies, Spitfiredwod :)

Awesome, chocolate chip preferably, haha.

I Think i did it by perfecting turn 9, at the end of the straight, I was coming in wider, accelerating earlier, and i was able to get almost 75 MPH at the end of the turn. I think that was just enough to get it. Mission accomplished, huhzah.

I Might be able to get a time posted soon, with a [R] Civic 3 door Si '93.

And i was thinking, why not do this for GT1? I've noticed the same cars post different times from GT2, would be an interesting comparison.

Did a 1:25.538 in my Vauxhall Calibra Super Touring Car stock. Amazing lap, great car.

Sure thing! Trial Mountain is one of my favourite tracks in GT2, and the 30 lap endurance race there is one of my favourites as you can enter it in a starter car and have a good competitive race, especially if the Lotus Elises turn up :)
And when the Vector M12 turns up...

Nice thread going on here, I might give it a try. :)

1:46.929 in a stock Honda Civic 3 Door Si '93. Damn, you guys doing 1:40's in CRXs are crazy fast.

It is stock... only wheels changed, not the tyres.
It is able to go low 1:32's i hit 1:32.8 yesterday, still working on my lap. About 20 laps per day or session is best.

Yeah, NSX Type S even I got easily into the 1:34's, so better racers using better controls and driving Manual skillfully I'm sure could make 1:32... I only barely glimpsed the car's potential at 1:34.5 I'm sure of it.
