So, this is what i got now. I can go under 1:03 if i clean the lap. I lost almost a second just in the sector 4 against my best sector time.
When I was doing tons of in depth comparos with GT2, when I wanted to be most precise in determining a car's potential on a given track in a given configuration, I would watch the replays and record the sector times in a spreadsheet and then sum the fastest passes through each sector to get a theoretical best lap time. This was often half a second faster than my best single lap time after 10 or so laps. It also makes for a good challenge. Find the theoretical best lap after 10 laps, and then keep running until you can beat that time on a single lap. When you do, the run will be so clean it'll feel great afterwards.
