How good is 4WD?

Also the Mitsubishi Lancer 1600 GSR Rally Car '74 is pretty awesome for drifting.

Leave these guys alone. You can drift FR, they can drift 4WD. If drifting a 4WD is what they call professional drifting and makes them happy then make them be.Give them their 30 seconds of fame.

I much prefer FR drifting but I am partial to going in a 206 rally car :)

the gtr r35 tc (dlc car) is the hands down fastest beast that I have gone sideways easily in. My tune for it is in the depot if your interested.

My 4WD pickup will show all you panzy Comfort Hard RWD drifters who's boss, even on sports softs!!!!!!!

PANZY??? LOL in my opinion they are the most dedicated and fair of all the drifters on GT5. CH RWD is the bread and butter of the worlds best on GT5.

I must agree on this 👍 :)

What you chatting about mate comfort hards and RWD is for pussys. Real men use racing slicks and AWD with 60/40 torque split.
I could beat any of you's in me veyron.

seriously you wont, just because I always drive on CH does not mean Im useless with everything else.

I drift veyron aswell but 10/90 on CH.

If you want we can settle this. BUT BE HONEST... U DON'T DRIFT CH becos it's too LOOSE and you cannot CONTROL it. U NEED PRACTICE!!! your WAYYY out of your league talking to me like that.

-facepalm-

I dont know whats worse, the fact that Jesus (to me) appears to be obviously sarcastic, or that Klevrah is arguing with him about it...:nervous::irked:

Hang on, your talking about being too loose, and yet your "drifting" the grippiest drivetrain you can get?

Oh, and text speak is against the AUP.

rear wheel drive on Comfort Hards??? and sorry yeah I didn't think he was being sarcastic but now i read it I feel kinda silly lol

2wd is better than 4wd in my opinion not because 4wd seems novice but because the front wheels pull out of the drift in some cases which is annoying. 400R fully tuned is best in my opinion though

I really do not troll often on this forum, but I couldn't resist this time...

Everybody who trolled here is a professional RWD Comfort hard drifter you will never be able to beat with your 4WD ''experience''. 4WD ''drifting'' isn't worth anything, neither on this forum nor in any competition. If you would like to join this drift community I have a hint for you: Forget anything about 4WD drifting and practice the serious stuff with RWD cars ( NO 10-90 distribution is not RWD)

I don't call 4WD "drifting" either, but I use it for "gymkhana"....which is what the OP was talking about.

People who think CH's are difficult have no ground to talk about AWD being inferior.

1. You can drift AWD. It's just as valid. Just don't expect to bring it to a competition because you'll be laughed off the track.

2. CH are the EASIEST tire to drift on. Not the hardest. It requires no effort whatsoever to kick the rear out and hold it there. It's like drifting on ice. You have a huge margin for error and you have to make a colossal mistake to screw up the drift, compared to stickier tires which will punish you at the slightest mistake. You cannot adequately gauge someone's skill when they're driving with CH tires, it's just not possible. Even at their very best, they could be concealing mistakes that you can't see. The reason everyone uses CH is because they're so easy that it's easy to tandem and it puts the drift competitions on a more even playing field where the people with skill aren't completely destroying the competition. CH are like a handicap on the skilled drivers.

Nice... and then we come back again³ to the tire discussion.
Awsome achievement, sir. Well done.

me drifting the r35 tc, and then the second lap is what it looks like following the r35 in an r34.

PS: I only use CH and really don't drift 4x4 but this cars is a beast (as stated before intended for the OP ears) hope this helps answer your question.
