I only use my AWD for gymkhana, so I love it when people say I'm drifting. Shows how stupid and stuck up they really are.

A mod has already made a thread stating that AWD drifting is entirely valid, and the only time it would be allowed to rule it out is for competition-regulation's sake. Any AWD drifting bashing would likely get the attention of the mods.
Odd how so few people ever see it; it's stickied to the top of the forum!

I don´t know about the rest of the GTP forum, but at least in this Drift Subforum, at least every month the same topics are created and the same discussions raises. Now tell me who never learn, who create these topics without search or the people who feed it.
Otherwise, there is a lack of subjects to discuss in here, maybe thats why these topics are created over and over. I tried to bring up more creative discussions, and im glad when i see more people doing the same. But these kind of talks usualy dives down before reach 30 posts or so.
And for last, but not least, after the 2.0 Spec and the drivetrain regulation on the lobies, the AWD goofies are not a problem anymore, thankfully. Oh, by the way, i dont care about what any moderator stated about AWD powerslides... i have my own opinion about it even before start to play GT5 and make part of this forum.

Yes but they care about how you express your opinion not what your opinion is. If one person has one legitimate view and you have a different one then you don't have the right to have a go at them for it 👍 No matter how much you disagree with it.

No but your arguing about it and half of you havent even answer my question in the OP. I dont tell you what is right or wrong in a video game that YOU payed for! If i want to drift.. (whoops) .. i mean slide round in a 4WD car i will.

Lol. Get one thing straight i don't care what you slide around. AWD doesn't bother me as such, only time it does when one takes you out or when you call AWD drift.

When you state your opinion as fact, then it's not an opinion.
And "Freedom-of-Speech" is a very misleading concept. You're free to speak what you will within this privately owned and funded forum as long as you abide by the rules of this site. One of the rules is: "If a moderator tells you no, then don't."
Clarification: AWD Drifting
Since the thread is asking "How good is 4WD", you can state your opinions and observations about drifting AWD cars, pros and cons. This is perfectly acceptable. Issuing an edict about the "proper" use of the term "drifting", which shows how little you know about the history and evolution of the practice (as well as how little you know about Gymkhana), isn't.
