How many PS3 Controllers have you gone through?

Same, my PS3 and Six-axis are as good as new still. If you look after them and keep them as dust free as possible in good venitalaiton and out of the sun, then theres nothing to worry about.đź‘Ť Sony built the PS2 to be practically indistructable...it seems like apart form HDD failures they are so far holding pretty strong.:D

I being so luck with my ps3 because it has never broke down before me. I bought my ps3 when it came out on march 23 2007 it has being 2 years working nothing has being damage yet.

Based on the poll results, and the fact that like Ceiling_Fan, many apparently misunderstood the poll and voted on the number of controllers they currently have and have had, rather than the number of controllers that have actually failed on them, instead of being lucky, you are among the status quo and vast majority that have not had any problems with their controllers... which I suspect is why CF is so upset, as it is never a good feeling to have a case of bad luck.

Well my second controller just died, so I suppose I should be in the 3 controllers category now. :grumpy: I bought the last one on December 3rd, not impressed at all. đź‘Ž
Are you sure you just aren't wearing them out? All those trophies put a lot of wear and tear on controllers.

I got two controllers when I bought the PS3 in 2007 and they're still working perfectly.

I'm not really bothered about rumble to buy a new one unless a controller does fail.

First controller that came with the PS3 I stepped on and broke all the shoulder buttons out, never happened with DS2 controllers, I've stepped on plenty of those.

Bought a new SIXAXIS and now the left analogue stick sticks

The PS3 controllers feel cheap compared to the DS2 controllers

I own one Sixaxis (Wireless) Controller, and two DualShock 3 (Wireless) Controllers. I used the Sixaxis on a regular basis for nearly two years, and I never had one single problem with it. I haven't used the Sixaxis in many months now, but both of the DualShock 3s are working perfectly. I am beginning to think that some folk complaining about the PS3 controllers are throwing the things against the wall (or some similar object).

You are right that I misunderstood the poll, the main reason I'm upset though is that Amazon.com said I bought the controller on December 3rd. Yes, I play games WAYY TOOO MUCHH, but it's still not something I as a paying consumer to have to live with. :indiff:

But I love the *plink* sound!! :nervous:

Actually the controller on the 360 acknowledges when you get an Achievement by lighting up  I bet some people burnt out that light

I know you aren't singling me out or anything, though I must say I've never been mean to my controller. I've actually never been angry about anything. Ever. Except when I broke a Game Boy on my head (the huge old school ones, damn that Super Mario Land...)

Heres a story...
