60.. It would be more, but we pay for Prologue about 40USD. PD got their money from Prologue sales, and I do not think they will charge more then 60.

Anyone knows GT5Prologe World Sales? As well Downloads over PSN?

Wikipedia page
By April 30, 2008, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue had shipped 2.23 million worldwide according to Sony Computer Entertainment and Polyphony Digital, with 270,000 units in Japan, 550,000 in North America, 1.38 million in Europe, and 30,000 in Asia.[2] As of June 2008, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue has shipped 270,000 copies in Japan, 610,000 in North America, 1.45 million in Europe, and 40,000 in Southeast Asia.[1]

With the 2.23 million sold at $40, that would bring them $89.2 million. I don't know how much of a percentage they get out of that, though.

i read an article yesterday that said the price of video games is going to decrease.

Found it..

http://videogames.yahoo.com/feature/analyst-games-to-get-cheaper/1286173

all that is saying on games that have been out several months the price wont be as high as they used to. meaning games wont hold there $60 price tag for 6 months like used to be but it wont drop the retail price of a new title. the reason the prices are so high on new titles is to help pay off the rising development costs of new titles.

Well depends on what DECADE it is released.:grumpy:

The price never entered my mind until I saw this thread, I don't really car what it costs, but you can be sure it'll be usual full retail price.

i say around 100€collector / 80€normal with a 20€ discount for people that have gt5 prologue!

In the U.S.

$60 for the standard game

$90 for the Special Edition. And there needs to be one.

I would say usual price although I personally would pay any price.

I don't think Sony need to charge extra because many PS3 consoles will be sold due to the release of GT5.
