How Old are you and how long you been playing GT?

36 here. Been playing since '98 w GT1. Before that there was only Need for speed and Ridge Racer. GT changed everything though. I've played just about every major console racers on various systems and nothing has come close to my GT love (even the I'll fated PGR/MSR). I'm sure you've played the GT clones, Sega GT and Forza. I'm picking up GT psp and look to see you guys on GT5.
 
I'm 15 now, and have been playing GT since I was 9.(The one I played first was GT2, it was at home and my father often used to play it :))
 
I am 21 yrs old and I started to play GT ever since it came out in 98'. Back then I played GT while my friends were still only playing Need For Speed. I own, GT1, GT2, GT3, GT4, and GT5p. Of course I will also be waiting for GT5, as it is the only racing simulator that I am going to buy and the only racing simulator that I'll ever play.

I'm 56 years young and been hopelessly hooked since GT3.

I used to have GT1, and GT2, but they went with my PS1 when I sold it a few years ago. God I miss them.:guilty:
 
I´m 24 (in december) and I´ve been playing since GT1, with the exclusion of GT4, since I didn't have a PS2 in a working condition at that time :ouch:. Playing GT5P when I can and can't wait til March!
 
I am 17 years old (18 in December) , and I've been playing since 2000.

My bro in law owned both GT1 & GT2, then he gave them to me when I got my PS One.

Since then, I've been playing GT3, GT4, and hopefully soon GT5.

I am 38(39 this month) and have been playing since 99 and have never played anything else since. I wore out 5 PS2's and finally opened one up and found out that if ya clean the laser eye that they will work forever. I still have a box of them in pieces that still work. haha. Anyway I went out 2 months ago and bought a PS3 and GT5P and 2 weeks later they dropped the price by a hundred bucks. Dammit! Anyway GT is the only game that will ever be in my unit! long live the king of games!

I'm 19 and having been playing GT since GT3 when I saw my cousin playing it. I was amazed by the game and have loved it ever since. I have GT3, GT4, GT5P and hopefully soon GT5.
 
I'm almost 24 and I play GT since '98 and GT1 on the PSX.
I got GT2 after that but I don't own GT3 because I was disappointed wis the 150+ cars, considering the 600+ from GT2. Only regret is : SSR11 :(
Anyway I forgot GT during the GT3 period (including Concept Tokyo, Concept Geneva etc)
Then came GT4 Prologue which was (in my opinion) a big overpriced demo so no buy for me.
And finally, GT4 hit shelves and I got it before Day 1 !
I don't have GT5 Prologue cause I don't have a PS3 and I'm waiting for a GT5 bundle to get back to GT. Even if I still play a lot of GT4.

So that's about 11 years of GT with ups and downs for me :D
 
I'm 18, been playing GT since 2002 when I loaned a copy of Silent Hill 2 to a friend in exchange for GT3.
 
I ended up with a PlayStation and Gran Turismo when I traded a Sega with Road Rash and 2 controllers to a friend, havne't look back since 1998, 12 years going!
 
I'm 24 and i have been playing the GT series since GT1. i dont know exactly when but i have completed 1-3. when i was around 40% with gt4 it got corrupted and didnt play for a long time. I started over but honestly its not the same. I will finish it though. GT5P i think the same thing.




also I never had a playstation, I would go over my friends house and play lol. one time i was doing a endurance race and my friend had to leave. aw man I was so pissed lol.

Why would your freind want a megadrive instead of a psx ?..
Don't get me wrong the megadrive was pretty cool, but why would he swap it ?
 
He wanted a Sega again, why that I can't answer, plus he had more Sega games than the PS games and those old demos. Trade was made, no-trade-backs was established and that was it LoL.
 
I'm 19 and have been playing GT since the first one came out. I was only 8 years old at the time, and it was a birthday present to my dad, from my mum. Somehow i ended up with it :lol:

It was pretty challenging with me only being 8 years old, i only really used the 4WD cars, as TVRs and Vipers and such just span all the time. Nothing much has changed, i still stick to 4WD cars in GT5P :D
 
I was 17 when GT1 came out and I loved the game. I remember one of my college mates couldn't do the licence tests and gave me his memory card so I could do them for him and we wasted too many hours racing Corvettes round the high speed ring.
 
I'm 14.

Started playing GT5P months ago.

Love the game as it is a lot more realistic over other games like NFS i have played in the past.

The car collection is amazing!

Cant wait for GT5!!!
