I really wish 'this' posts were banned just like all the other stupid spam post.

It's not spam. It's just showing your opinion towards a particular viewpoint.

There is no point blethering on about stuff when you don't really need to say much. "+1" or "this" is acceptable in my opinion.

Well if they've nothing to add to the thread, why post at all? This is a discussion forum, after all.

I fail to see how that is adding anything worthwhile to the discussion personally.

They are adding there view which happens to be the same as someone else's. It just saves them re-typing what someone already said.

Receive Great Prizes by Clearing Events!
If you clear all 5 events within a round in Gold, you will receive a car that you can use within the ‘Gran Turismo 5’ game. If you clear all rounds in Bronze or better, you’ll also receive a special racing wear set that can be worn by your avatar in “Gran Turismo 5”. The timing for the distribution and how to receive these prizes will be notified at a later date on this page.

^^^ I think that has been posted about 5 times now.

Think we're up to about 17 now Turbo (just a quick count).

So, no one else is a little put off that PD has once again released a unfinished product?

Did no one at PD think a "blind update" and THEN the release of GT Academy would have made a little more seamless of a project?

At this point I'm not the least bit surprised, I just take it as the norm now. They didn't even have the message on the website to start with.

Lol!! It was first posted something like 5 minutes after the announcement went live!

But it wouldn't have been a proper PD way of things! Lol!

I think the Mods have just giving up on consolidating the threads together. They should make it that after you register a new account, they force you to the search page so you can find what your looking for without posted a thread on the same damn thing.

At RX-7. I didn't see the other threads that were created on other parts of the site. I thought I was doing it alright, when I posted on the official GT Academy 2012 page. I didn't see the new info there. I only saw two threads but there are 5 or 6 total threads on the same subject.

How exactly is it "unfinished"?

Giving us prize cars at the end of the contest is not exactly unfinished.

And Sony updates the GT sites, not PD.

Oh, I'm sorry Turbo.

If you look at it like the license tests then you are absolutely correct! You only get your prize after completing all the tests. So in eight weeks, we'll get our cars.

We should be happy for getting anything. I know last year they promised us posters and other goodies which nobody ever received.

Okay, but I'm curious, as a consumer, do you take the same stance when patronizing other businesses?

Use a restaurant analogy. You sit down and wait to order. You know what you want, but the server is no where to been seen. Finally, he comes over and you order a burger, waffle fries and an IPA. You ask if you can have the burger without pickles, the server just stares at you, doesn't say anything. Okay, guess not, that will be it.

You wait for your beer, but it doesn't come out until your burger does. Now, the burger is excellent, but the beer is flat from last weeks keg, also there's no waffle fries. The server tells you they'll be out in a minute, so sorry. You drink your beverage and enjoy your burger. Just as you finish, he brings your fries, but doesn't even ask if you'd like another drink.

You finish the fries, which were great too, late and would have gone much better with the meal, but at least you got them.

Now, you give this place another couple chances because the food is great, but there's always something missing or overlooked which ruins the experience.

I just don't see what the big deal is about getting the cars (which are not that special anyway....for now at least) right away. I'm fine with them getting them to us at the end. That's just my opinion, nobody is required to agree with me.

this makes perfect sense since half the people wholl be taking part in GTA wont actually have GT5. This is all planned, and there is nothing half assed about any of this

Just as I read into a short footnote telling us prizes will be available at a later date as poor planning. But, no one has to agree with me either.

I think the main reason that the cars will be given after the end is to keep players that have GT5 to practice driving the cars. That would let us know more about how the cars handle.

I agree.
