How to cope with the wait?

Luckily (I guess!!!), work has been flat out so any time I get to play any of my games is great for me, so as long as it isn't another year I think the wait will be painless!

I enjoyed Ferrari challenge quite a bit as a fairly raw racing experience, although not a big Ferrari fan, so I would guess SCC would be the go.
Shift felt broken (control wise) to me and just as arcadey as the previous NFS games, I HATED it, first game I have sold in ages

thanks mate, guess I will grab a copy of SCC very soon.👍

there are really some weird questions out there..

949722. 23494. Am I going to get laid this year? Yes - definitely

... haha what a question, huh? I think he´s not gonna getting any laid until he stops asking a computer about the sucess of it. :dopey:

*gulp* Never knew that website had a history...... :sly:

BT-> I cope; by keeping myself busy with the Vehicle Wish List, writing my manga stories, watch various Anime/Top Gear/etc episodes, reading some Manga/Car News online, plus work and school too! :)

well I wish I knew all about the magic 8 ball ages ago, could have saved myself alot of time.

+ Will gt5 have skidmarks? = My reply is no
+ Will GT5 be released this year? = Without a doubt
+ Can you roll your car in GT5? = Yes
+ Will there be private online racing in GT5? = Better not tell you now (wtf!)

Chill guys

He's relaxed.

hahah lol'd

^ What do you mean?

Work and school and all other thinks sounds like you have a live to live. The "crazy idea" was a joke. I mean seriously, its a game and when i read through some posts here the delay of GT is a really bad thing and we don´t even know what to do till then? C´mon.

I just completed the new super mario bros wii game and got every coin for all 9 levels and now plan on going back to ratchet and clank a crack in time to get the zoni to fight the 3rd final boss, if you will. Then I think I'll take on some twilight princess and by then the new Metroid game Other M may be out and I'll play that until the release, or something like that :) Oh and I'll get to meet Stan Lee at the Emerald City Comicon to help pass the time too :D

That made me laugh, thanks!

I will be playing GT5P, and I encourage all of you to play it also. The more people racing the better, and when the GT5 TT is over, the 'GT5P Race Events' subforum will be very active. Take a gander, and have some fun!

You have only two options:

1) Latch on to another hobby or continue an old one. ;)

2) Things sound too stable. You need to go out and generate some good ole fashioned disfunctional relationships. Extend the drama and time will pass like that. You'll lose most of your friends, but hey, it's for a good cause.

And as you shall be busy and more stressed than ever before, you might not even notice GT5 when it hits the shelves. However, when you do, it will be the perfect surprise/wake up call; Christmas in (enter non-Christmas month here)...time to stop the disfunction.

I can not actually guarantee the outcome for #2, as I'm too busy with #1, so you might just end up with nothing but your thoughts of GT5 as comfort.

Good luck, trust in (enter deity here), but don't forget to tie up your camel. 👍

Well, as time passes by, you can enjoy a life, if you have one...or get GT4, save ( I don't remember how much ) credits and buy a RUF CTR Yellowbird '87, take it to the 'ring and fit N1 tires on it and lap ten times in a day. It works as a treatment for a disturb called Polyphonyde Agony...:D

I just read through the new posts and wait and wait and wait for as long as it takes. I want it right not fast that being said please hury pd

How about living your life? It's just a game. Live your life while you can, because when GT5 finally arrives, you won't have a life for a while.

If you have older consoles or a pc for gaming grab a copy of TOCA 2 and TOCA 3... they are great racing games and can help you pass the time enjoyably.

Like someone else suggested. Grab GT4 or if you already have it, thats what i'm doing to reduce the wait inbetween all the other games that are coming out in the next few months.

Go outside -- there's a world out there. Once GT5 comes out, you'll quickly forget said world exists.

What's your coping strategy?, and is GT designed so I should be playing GT5 until GT6 arrives as this only works if they show us nothing and tell us nothing IMO.

Playing other PS3 games (Assassin's Creed 2, Uncharted 2, etc) and going out and riding my motorcycle when GT5: Prologue gets old. Getting a new sports car might take your mind off things for a while. :) I've been eyeing some used 997 Carrera S cars on Autotrader, but I need the prices to drop just a little bit more. If you're really frustrated, running, hiking, and sex help too, but in the end all that could really satisfy us is popping in GT5, turning up the sound really loud, and jumping into our virtual cockpit.
