How to correctly uninstall and reinstall without losing progress

Replays I save in Showcase sometimes disappear. The latest incident was that the single saved replay I had in Showcase yesterday, was not there today after the upgrade. I've checked with others and their replays remain in Showcase.

Someone suggested I uninstall and reinstall the game to see if that resolves the issue. Since I have "too much time on his hands"-progress I don't want to lose it, so am asking for advice on how to correctly uninstall GT7 and then reinstall it, while retaining my progress.

It is on PS4 base and I have the disc version of the game.

You just literally uninstall and reinstall you won’t lose game progress it’s all stored server side
