This guy is probably just getting tree'd
1. Hold RPM at maximum torque.
2. Slip the clutch and roll on the throttle, trying to let out the clutch as fast as possible, while keeping the same RPM with as much throttle as possible. (Not too much to spin the tires.)
So if max torque is at 8 grand, try and hold 8 grand all the way until the clutch is all the way out. But you have to try and let out the clutch as fast as possible, without letting the RPM's drop, or spinning the tires.
dilloramaAppreciate the helpful advice. Unlike the guys who are convinced their "pros" on here being douchebags to anyone who doesn't know as much as them.
APRECIATE IT![]()

Dude if you look at the team threads and top time threads, its shows you that they are pros and top tuners, you just had help from them so you push them away…
Good luck to you mate.
The only way to launch well online, especially when you NEED to win, is full throttle with handbrake. Other methods are just too inconsistent online.
Before you say this isn't helpful and your car just spins up, it must be your tune. This method by Bopop4 will cause more wheelspin, because more torque means more wheelspin, so if the car is on maximum torque, then the car is more likely to spin up. It's your tune, not the start.
Next time, don't be so rude, you clearly have no idea what you are talking about, so treating por's like that is completely wrong.
You really don't deserve this.
I don't care what a couple threads calls these guys "pros".
I'll take the advice that I understand the best and helped me legitimately the best, regardless if its a "pro" or not lmao.
Omg it's a video game shut the hell up acting like this is some serious life or death situation that I don't deserve. Clearly the proclaimed GODLY PROS of video games help didn't help me PERSONALLY. I got my help. No need to keep replying with you douche comments.
Most draggers use the DS3 controller, no clutch slipping possible, hold ebrake and use full throttle, release ebrake when its time to go. Don't use the regular brake. Wheelspin is normal on FR, MR and FF cars. Do you have route X to test tunes with ?

Just leave it. Pure retard in the making.
dilloramaSadly. I don't have the route X to test tunes, but I usually get most of them off of this drag thread.
I need to purchase the DLC, I usually just go to a straight on practice and test them.

PTKSo I don't know about you all, but since he's already taken the first step of getting a tune from here, we should let him learn himself.. Technically we helped already.
Never rpm launch online .. Its pointless, just hold down your gas![]()
Most rwd cars need to be a 2nd to 3rd quick shift aka the enzo, act ect..
awd cars won't spin as much
Just leave it. Pure retard in the making.
Lmao do you enjoy your sense of empowerment on a video game thread cause you're a total dork in real life, so you have to go on a thread and ruin someone elses video game experience by trolling everything they post? Sorry, I play this game for fun, not dedicate every waking hour to it, to gain a sense of popularity on a thread which is the only place you feel accomplished and accepted.
- Keep your opinions to yourself, if you think I am hard headed and don't listen to your advice, then stop posting in the advice thread. Allow other people to help me in there way, has nothing to do with you. Stop trolling everything posted, and go about your own business on the thread.
dREAM00wow.
Actually iv got a wife, house, I have a great job and good friends, id say iv done well in life, and I don't spend every waking hour on a game.
Go get your dick wet and come back to me kid..
I
dilloramaYou can all get your head out of each others asses.
- If I knew how to close a thread, I would lmfao.
Dill.
First of all what are you using for throttle?
The x button or the stick?
Manual or automatic?
use the stick and then do automatic.
dont touch it on ssx until you see a number on the screen.
why don't you post your tune on here lol.
Too much work to post my tune on here, and I would if there was legitimately helpful "pros" who wouldn't just troll and pretend to be better than everyone else through a screen, as expected on a video game thread though.

Some of us are tired of hearing "help me help me" from the countless new people who don't appreciate what we've established in the community. Just your attitude in this thread, calling those here "pros", means you realize they have more experience here than yourself and you're intimidated by their knowledge. If you spent the time to learn the difference between Route X launching and online Indy launch, you would realize everyone here has given you good advice on different types of launching.
But you don't. You continue to insult everyone here because of your ignorance of your own question. And yet, you still wonder why no one here wants to help anymore. You are the embodiment of the reason why we are unwilling to help. The real troll here is yourself.
On-topic of your original post, all non-AWD cars have wheelspin(except for those severely underpowered). This is a circuit racing game, not a drag race simulator - there are no drag slicks and, therefore, the realism isn't accurate to real drag racing. We're doing something the game isn't intended for, so we all have to deal with it the best we can.
