Just watching the build up to the race on Star Sports and it got me thinking. Why the hell are these F1 programmes so bloody boring?

Who the hell wants to see Jarno Trulli sitting on a balcony eating fruit and talking about the importance of drinking lots of water?.......And now I'm watching the Toyota drivers standing like lemons on a stage with a small bunch of fans with autograph books........and now Alex Yoong is talking about the importance of drinking fluids before a race..........Oh God! Who gives a toss? Just show me cars ripping round the track at 300km/h.....please!

Rant over ;) Let's hope the race is a good un.

I actually like the behind the scenes stuff...I think it adds to the overall enjoyment of the racing. I like getting to know the drivers. Though I agree, we all know about the dehydration issue at Malaysia...they have only been telling us about it for 6 years..haha

The SpeedChannel pre-race stuff is okay, you hear about the latest controversy, qualifying, new rules/regulations, and what changes have been made to the cars/teams since the last week....of course, as the silly-season progresses, you get to hear about who-goes-where and so-and-so-without-a-ride.

However, I'd really like to hear about who's who in F3000 and promising in F3, so I know who these new drivers are. Despite the wealth of info I get on TV and the internet, I'm no closer to understanding who all these new drivers are until they're in an F1 race.

Rant over.
