Sorry i was getting a bit bored, i'm hoping there will be between 150-200 rally cars ( Group N, Super 1600, WRC, Extreme mode, Group B and classics ).Would love to take most road cars and make it into a rally car ( Mk1/Mk2/Mk5 Golf GTI, early 80's Toyota Starlet, Peugeot 309 GTI/205 1.9 GTI, 106, Civic Type R etc 👍 ).Want to see all the Ford road cars in there too ( Sierra Saphire Cosworth, Sierra Cosworth 2 dr, RS500 Cosworth 2 dr, 1st Escort Cossie, Lux, Moonstone Blue edition etc ), like the Mk2 Escort BDA road car, Mk1 Escort Mexico, Mk2/Mk3 Escort RS2000, Escort RS1600, Fiesta XR2I, Escort XR3, Escort XR3I and various other Fast Fords.I'm not forgetting other european & japanese road cars for rallying.Would be great if there is a load of road cars already in rally mode for you convert etc.

In the Nascar mode, i wouldn't have a clue how many there are since Nascar first started ( Plym SuperBird, Dodge Charger, maybe the GT500 :nervous:) so as a guess i'd say 150 Nascar racers.

For GT mode from about 600 to 650 cars. What's your take on all this.

Personally, I'm more worried about countries, then manufacturers, and then rally/road/NASCAR vehicles.

I would rather see the ability to take any stock-based (which means: non racer, since the F1 cars don't drive on the gravel ;)) rallying, since you can do it in reality too. Of course there is always a damage issue, but I can live without it. Similar to GT2 - buying the "dirt tyres" and setting the suspension/drivetrain differently should suffice.

And you forgot about my beloved Group A and the newer S2000 cars.

I knew i forgot one and S2000 is not of the Honda variety i suspect.Would like to see the Group A cars.

To be honest i think your asking/hoping for alot, I doubt there will be like 200 rally cars 100 nascar 600 sports/road cars if any thing they will be very mixed, and well thought out. I would say at the very least we will have all the current WRC cars all the cars from GT4 plus more. I just hope that gran turismo 5 has more or just as many tracks as forza 3 whether they are real or fictional.

I'm wondering with the latest GT PSP featurette movie, what will happen with importing cars which has been confirmed. Would be strange to start GT5 with the Bugatti Veyron if you'd already earnt it in GT PSP, hopefully all races feature some sort off PP limit, assuming their is a race for every car on all tracks, otherwise the game would be over before it started. Imagine the Veyron on Sunday cup!

I really don't think there is going to be 150 to 200 Rally cars. If you are real lucky, there might be 25 to 50 at the most! The only way you are get more is through DLC!

There will be plenty of rally cars, I seem to recall quite a few in GT4. I doubt it will tough triple figures though. There will be two official NASCARs and if you count them, a handfull road version of old NASCAR racers like the Superbird which I'm assuming will be in.

I want at least 50 Le Mans cars, distributed between Group C, LMP1, LMP, GT1, GT2, GTP, LMP2, and Classics (like the 917/K, the Aston Martin DBR1, etc). I want variety at La Sarthe, unlike GT3 which had just 2 LMGTP, and GT4 which had around 15 LMP in various categories, although GT4 was a big leap). Nascar cars are not much of a worrie to me, i would like to se classics like the Torino, the Superbird, and the Charger Daytona, but in my humble opinion, modern Nascar cars are only 3 with different paintwork, so for example, you could get all Chevrolet Impala COT's in the Chevy dealership, and then just find your prefered livery or driver. And as Maggot said, i would like to race rallies with stock cars, just as it was in previous GT's (like GT2 and GT4), just bolt on some dirt/snow tires and off you go.
