How would you like the dealerships to be implemented in GT6?

Like put a 1 car per real day limit, like trading is now. And include trades in the limit. So you can either buy 1 car or trade 1 car per day. That way you have to play 1,000 days to get 1,000 cars. That would keep people interested.

Some things I just don't understand.

Garages in GT6: As in GT5 except standards are in the dealership, all new. No level restrictions. No hidden cars.

Ideally you wouldn't need to bother and all cars would be free if you wanted.

2 ways I could live with:

1) As I've gotten tired to wait for certain cars and I also want them in prime condition when I need them, I would like a combined dealership with premium and standard cars with 0km models. Oh, and by the way, get rid of that "breaking in" thing. It's just annoying having to drive the car for over an hour on Route X to finally be able to race your opponents on an even playing field. The working population doesn't have time for that.

2) Combined menu with manufacturers. Then, inside, as default, the combined dealership with full-prize no-mileage models, with button to go to current used cars available that can be bought at a discount (with mileage, if they absolutely have to bring that back again).

By country of course. GT5's system was utter bollox.
Also prize cars being purchasable at dealerships? just no.

I still don't understand why people want to revert even the things that GT5 did unilaterally better than all of the previous games in the series.

How else would I be able to own for example 4 differently coloured Alfa TZ2's (2 through tickets though but still) like I currently do if it was only awarded once in that B-Spec event and you can't dupe it due to the trading restriction?
And what if a prize car has suffered permanent powerloss and you want to replace it?
Think before suggesting something please.

I would argue that by saying;

1) Get rid of the trading restrictions.
2) Get rid of power loss/vehicle maintenance.
3) Allow players to receive prize cars more than once.

Or how about the more simple solution of making them available in the dealerships once you've unlocked them if unlocking is considered a necessity?
Although I wouldn't argue against removing trading restrictions in general nor would I against permanent power loss being removed (although making sure the engine restore option in GT-Auto actually restores the engine would solve that too without the strange addition of limited vouchers/tickets that do that).

That's a good idea, I didn't think of that. I also would want my suggestions implemented regardless, however.

This could be a positive especially in long distance races where you could be on the pp limit but during the race you could gain and end 10-20pp over it. Found that out on 9hr and 24hr races.

Break in is fine so long as I have the option of pushing a button while purchasing the car and spending a few $$ to get an instant break in, that way it's still available in it's current form and if you want to drive 300 km to break a car in you can. Same with the oil change that increases power automatically as soon as you buy the car. Totally needless waste of time.

It could always be purchasable in a dealership after you unlocked it, but making it purchasable BEFORE you even completed the event where it is a prize sort of defeats the purpose of prize cars and kills much of the career mode which for me is the high point of the series (or was until 5 and PSP came out)

I would like to see a list of dealerships of every country.
Then, you choose the brand, and go into the showroom filled with cars and have ability to walk and navigate inside the room same way like in photo travel by means of joysticks.
Cars are standing in rows on both sides of me, when I come closer to a car I could see a stand with description of the particular one. I might get a discount, if my reputation is well known in that country (depends which cars you use most of all).
Instead of GTAuto I would like to go to official dealer for maintenance of my car. It would cost me more than black market service.
Meanwhile, I might be offered to watch some movie about cars presentation and if I am lucky one, be rewarded with a cup of a fresh grounded coffee.

They did it in TDU and it was kind of cool, but I think a more simple one would be better. So they could spend the dev time on other things, like the track environment or something.

I could care less about the layout.... all I know is that GT6 needs needs needs NEEDS NEEDS!!!!!!!!! a Tuner Village. It would be a godsend. It would be where you can get racing modifications, stage 5 turbo kits, stage 5 weight reductions, special aero kits, and full models.

I'm actually quite fine with the way the NCD was implemented in GT5. But unlike some people I do not want standards buyable in the NCD, unless there is a way to filter them out, as I do not like the idea of having to scroll past 25+ low-poly Skylines, MX-5's, RX7's, & NSX's.

OCD can definitely return, and I've already stated the improvements I think need to be made for the UCD in another thread a while back.
