How would YOU redesign Deep Forest for GT Sport?

Won't change much about it. Probably some runoff area at first corner and at cliff side going up the hill before last tunnel
 
Any ways , I would give it dense Forrest . Basically the same as it always has been. I don't get the pre gt4 comment as the Last version was near identical minus lighting .
 
I wouldn't redesign it, it's perfectly fine as is - and don't get me on curbs width or runoff areas when we have Dragon Trail and Tokyo Expressway. I mean if you really want to, you could easily add some gravel traps et both ends of the main straight and the long left corner before, and maybe a few SAFER barriers here and there.
 
Keep it as it originally was, that’s the whole point of wanting original tracks isn’t it?
If you’re going to change it there’s no point in asking for the original
 
I would increase 1000km in circuit extension. It would not change your layout. Where it is straight, it would increase from 100 to 400 meters.
 
Change the chicane near the start of the lap to something slower and make it more of a passing opportunity. More run off on the outside of the long left hander that then goes up the uphill back straight.
 
I would leave it as is except change the guard rail used on the left side of the track along the cliff side. Make it look like something you could hit and not go flying off a cliff.

I would yank back all the iconic characteristics from the PS1-era DFR. The sunset sky with the oncoming clouds really added an impact when driving so definitely include that. I'd also retain the deep forest scenery as it has been pretty well preserved over the years, but bring back the blocked off paths from the PS1-era so there could be a possible rallycross variant, like El Captain was with Cathedral Rocks. Maybe add some camber to the two corners before the long cliffside road for some speed. ;)
 
@The Vanishing Boy Would you mind telling me the difference between GT1-2, GT3, GT4 and GT5-6 Versions of the track? Because there's some difference between them but i can't really remember.

I will edit this post in a couple of minutes with edits i want in the circuit.

EDIT: HOW DIDN'T I REALIZE THIS?!

It seems that roads in GT4 version of the track looks wider compared to the GT3 which still retains the narrow roads from the PS1 Era design. GT1-3 Seems to have a better and thicker "forest-y" look while GT4-6 look much more "exposed".

I'm kinda leaning towards the earlier GT's but i also would like to see some other difference. I would like to see some steeper elevation changes and some more run offs as other suggested...yeah i ran out of ideas.

Midfield Raceway in GT6 was a nice remake tho.
