IT IS REDICULOUS, IT IS ONLY PAL USERS(no offence of course) BUT COME ON GIVE ME A BREAK....

WE NEED MORE NTSC USERS.

I have the same problem. It's just the way it is, GTP's member base is mostly European, no need to get so worked up about it.

I can't read the post first off. Second, you can't force NTSC to come. NTSC is virtually dead. Hence the Logitech Challenge.

Buy a PAL disc and hop on the band wagon.

well, I'm there, and NTSC is all i've got. 👍 I have this problem too. It's so boring racing alone :(
 
So why I am able, as a canadian, to race with french, spanish, italian, belgo and germans people ? are they not PAL when I am NTSC (Canada) ?

Pal disc are working on US or canadian PS3 ?
and do you have to start the game from the beginning ?

Explain, please.

I'm NTSC, I go into chat, I ask for races


But my TV is broken, so that's that. You should have asked sooner lol.

To answer your second question, yes PAL will work if you have a HDTV. There is also another way if you have SDTV, but i can't remember what it is. The third question is yes, or find a game save some where.
 
The problem is no pro world comp. Seems like too much to have a laptop next to my ps3 and my wheel, you guys are killing the earth with all those computers and electronics. Sometimes less is more. Set times, and send text messages is how i would do things if it were up to me.

Or your not racing expert events. If you race beg. or inter. World Event is available to race and its world wide.

Edit: Just buy a PAL disc ;)
 
Maybe I should start a little business on the side, selling and sending out copies of GT5:P PAL... :lol:
 
I have a PAL game and I use it to play with everyone from all corners of the globe. From my understanding, the only thing we can't do from PAL to NTSC is to save a replay, post it here and then someone else from the other side upload it to their PS3 and watch.

Either that or all the punters who don't give two hoots about GT5P have got both versions so they can punt evn more people - unlikely

My eyes! They burn!

I've logged into race chat a couple of times, no NTSC players, I log out. I've been able to have a number of good PUR's since the March 26th update, actually.

PD is really dropping the ball by segmenting their user-base.
