Hybrid Trading Thread: READ 1st POST!

I'll take the risk. Y'all can send the realistic hybrids my way. I don't care if I get banned. Its just a game

But banned would be PSN completely, as far as I know, all online aspects of your PSN account will be lost. Not just GT5.

I'm deleting my save and using my original save before this hybriding started :(
I'll miss my 2014 Camaro Z/28 replica with LS7 500+hp I guess a LS3 will do, I'll miss that exhaust note:(

But I love these cars. I can't just throw them away.

If PD doesn't do anything, Sony probably will.

PD is Sony flagship developer.
Sony doesn't want to ban 70% of the GT5 gamers for just having a hybrid car.
That would look good on the news....

"Sony bans 4 million GT5 users because they found a loop in the incomplete GT5 game."
Wouldn't do good for the sales so close before GT6/PS4.

If they would ban everybody that plays with modded games (this is not only GT5) then you can multiply the number with 20!

Who in here is willing to send me all your hybrids throughout a whole month? 1 car a day

You're probably right, but I'm taking no chances.

Yeah same here I hit level 40 and had every car I wanted in game and hybrids just add a whole new level of excitment ,although I can understand a little bit I'm sure this mainly came from these ridiculous HP cars going in regular lounges and ticking people off I for one stick to hacked lounges strictly for that reason....guess I'll just stick to private lounges amongst friends

Yea, I never left hacked lounges. All of my cars were realistic hacks

I never went online except seasonal Nurburghring Nordsclief I like trying a new tune on that track:) I don't like TT and Drift trials.

Maybe the moderators will tell us what we can and can't do.

Because it's stock and has had no alterations except it's in-game availability, I'll test my luck.

Well I heard it has less power than the regular X2010, has a different rear wing, and the fan is turned off.

So far I haven't been banned! Any reports of anyone getting banned?

No... As of now it just seems like the seasonals were what that message was aimed at.

Guys. They arent going to ban you if you habe them in your garage or use them offline. Dont delete them!!!!

I can offer you 99.9999999% guarantee on that.
Was talking to my father thismorning (he is a IP lawyer) they will only ban people using them in online challenges because otherwise they would have a PR mess on their hands. If you havent allready deleted the best cars to come to GT5... dont!!

You dont have to. There are many other liability/PR reasons they wont ban you. Pm me of concerned.

Can you make hybrids on the XL edition of GT5. I know how to make them but when I look for the hex c**e it won't show up on my save. All I want to know is can you make hybrids on the XL edition.

My advice is this. If you have a clean save available, back up your hacked save to your computer and reload the clean save to your PS3.

If you don't have a clean save, back up your hack save, then reload GT5, delete/sell all your hacked cars and hope for the best.
OR
Back up then start a brand new save.

Give it a week or two to actually see what the Ban actually does. If it's just for those cheating TT's and Drift seasonals then you should be able to reload your cars.
If it's for all hacked cars, just keep using your clean save.

Also via means I cannot discuss on here, you can change the user of PS3 save games. This being the case, you could set up a new user on your PS3, change your hacked saves user, then have access to your full garage on a different account, which you could then keep offline.

These 2 posts are probably the best description of what will happen in my opinion, If you have used a hacked car in a seasonal event TT or Drift trial or been reported by another user for using a hacked car in online race lobbies chances are you will get banned.

If you have been using hacked cars for your own pleasure without trying to cheat anyone or any events then chances are you will be fine.

Just my two penneth and I wouldn't be too hasty in deleting cars from my garage if I enjoy using them but each to his own :)

Last night I saw a M5 coupe semi-lowered with 800 hp.. Had all aero kit parts added an all hacked tires.. Does any one have this car?

Looked similar to this:

bmw-m3-gtr-race-car-i6.jpg

If anyone has this car or can make it.. Please let me know!!

I have multiple thing to trade!!

Might be the one I have, what color was it and what rim was on it?

No need. Good precautionary measure? Yes. But quite unnecessary. PD wont ban you for having the cars. Use them online its another story...

Im sure 20-40% of all GT5 players possess hybrids. Banning all of them for simply having them!? It would be suicide for PD and a PR nightmare.

Of course I had to find this out at school, so I can't take any cars offline yet. :grumpy:

When I get home, I'll take them all offline just to be safe. I didn't hack on my main account, but I did acquire quite a few hybrids. Never did any time trials or drift trials with them, but I did do a race on a two year old Seasonal just to test one out...

I really hope I'm not banned. :scared:
