Hybrid Trading Thread: READ 1st POST!

Of course I had to find this out at school, so I can't take any cars offline yet. :grumpy:

When I get home, I'll take them all offline just to be safe. I didn't hack on my main account, but I did acquire quite a few hybrids. Never did any time trials or drift trials with them, but I did do a race on a two year old Seasonal just to test one out...

I really hope I'm not banned. :scared:

One thing to keep in mind is if they are looking for it the software is probably allready in place to see who is using hybrids. Look how much time has passed since this started. Some angry kid that couldn't get his hands on one probably tipped off Polyphony/Sony. As long as we don't abuse them online and keep them for our own use for the time being I would bet everything will be fine. As mentioned before this would be the worst kind of publicity before PS4 and GT4 release they could possibly muster even though the rules were broken.

Well, I wouldnt count on the angry kid theory because these cars have a appeared on YT with a considerable amount of views. PD had the blind eye policy until these cars were used in TT's and DT's. That was the last straw....

Yes I agree with what you said. I could have worded that a little better, guess I am a little bit frustrated :banghead:

We all new (sorry,people with common sense) from the beginning to keep these offline as we knew this would happen...

There will always be the ones that spoil it for others in every type of situation. :(

I wouldn't worry too much bro, as long as you keep it safe and don't go put silly times on the online TT's... it's all good me thinks :)

Ha ha.. no man, I lift heavy at the gym monday to friday... got to, so I can release all that stress and tension that GT5 brings to me :lol:

Some people don't have the means, time, ability, or willingness to do it. It's like saying the marketplace should be closed so everyone has to buy their own cars. Every time I tried to hybrid a car, it didn't work, so should I be punished because I tried and failed. I think that this thread was useful but used more as a showcase thread, but if they wanted to close it, it would be because it was against the terms and service of PSN. And people in this thread, like this thread, why would they want it shut? If this thread doesn't pertain to you, or your beliefs, then leave, it's as simple as that.

P.S. I can help myself, I like helping myself, I don't like depending on other people for what I want, by using this thread, people who "sell" or give the hybrids are willing to help people who can't or are uninterested in making, they just like to drive them. It doesn't mean they take advantage of those who can and do make hybrids.

Would anyone be willing to give me a hybrid car? Or trade for something? Been trying to get one for ages. Preferably something RWD like a Supra, just want it for drifting. I'd be willing to trade paint, multiple cars, tickets, whatever.
 
I'm so glad to see its back. I missed this from the previous GTs.
I'm on a MAC so it seems I can't build any myself. I'm just looking for some nice stanced S2000s if anyone wants to build one up for me :)
Something normal and something over cambered like crazy.

I have some I would like, but I'm unable to make them myself. I can give you the specs via PM or PS3 messaging, but I'm not sure how it would turn out with PD cracking down on these hybrids. Lemme know if you can still help. I would appreciate it greatly.
 
I have a Honda Civic type R EK '97 except mine has around 24 000hp instead of the regular 3000hp though don't worry as I have realistic hybrids too.
The one I am willing to trade is my Toyota GT86 with 675bhp and is a lovely car to drive as it has brilliant launch and good straight line speed to go with its good handling and is a good car to do in 600pp events.

Do any of you go into "hack" lobbies with your realistic hybrids? Seems like every room I join everyone just has a random car on an x1 frame, just ridiculous
