Hybrid Trading Thread: READ 1st POST!

I tried to make a twin turbo Yaris 1.5 and somehow ended up with 7k HP (I was only using Supra Low RPM Turbos)... I don't suppose someone could try and make me one instead? I'm kinda new to the whole hex scene so I'm probably changing completely the wrong values, and now I don't have any 1.5l Yarises (Yarii?) to try again with.

EDIT - Finally worked out how to do proper TT swaps. Hooray!

Hey, does anyone have a slammed Lexus GS 300 '91 I could borrow glitch? I could give the person Some paint, car tickets, or whatever you want in return.

Well, that escalated rather quickly...

I know what he means, I tried to make a supercharged DB9 and ended up with intake_manifold_09 (that's the actual in-game upgrade name on the settings sheet, I'm not giving anything away on hybridding) and around 17,000hp/ 22,000 ft-lb of torque! It would spin from 1st-6th up to about 270mph:crazy:

I believe this is the manifold on the '66 Beetle 1200, I may be wrong though. I know I used the beetle's engine parts (and it's mid-range turbo) on the R10 TDI motor and it gave me around 6000HP..

IDK, when I added different parts the number changed and the power went down into the thousands, but every part still added up to 100-250hp so I left it alone and started over.

In my forays into the wonders of turbo swaps, I made what might be my favorite hybrid ever: an RX7 Spirit R Type A with the engine from the RE Amemiya FD3S and the chassis from the RX7 LM. What makes it REALLY special, however, is the aspiration - the High RPM twin turbos from the Supra as well as a supercharger (the optional one for the Cerbera Speed 12). This puts the power to around the high 600s...

Ladies and gentlemen of GtPlanet, I have a special treat for you all today.

*cue amazingly loud V12*
As you can see from the picture, it's an Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ2 Carrozata Da Zagato! It's no normal TZ2 though, as it has the spirit of 4 historic race cars living underneath it's 600kg shell. The V12 from the Jaguar XJ13 developing 700 horsepower at 7900rpm, the transmission of the Ferrari 330 P4, the suspension from the Ford Mark IV and last but not least, the 2Ds drivetrain.

To boost its maximum power, there is a high-RPM turbo kit which should be sufficient to propel this gathering of legends past 230 miles per hour.

It handles a bit worse than the original TZ2, but I had a lot of fun driving it. The car has a tendency to lift two wheels off the ground under heavy cornering, but otherwise it handles pretty similarly to the other historic race cars. (except, it has more understeer than oversteer.)

Protip: If you have a decent enough sound system, try to keep the revs below 4000~5000 as it makes a bloody excellent sound.

You can easily get 500HP out of the original engine of TZ2 :) Keeping it's spirit I guess, and also remove the gear whine by putting in a stock transmission + custom ratio, even better engine/exhaust sound without interfering gear noise.

I made one with original engine, no gear whine, all stock to keep authenticity of the historic car, also with turbo upgrades - close to 600HP :) Another version with wider track also made.

500 hp? How?
Although, I was actually just trying to cramp in 5 historic race cars in one, and it ended up pretty good.
Also, I'm looking for two hybrids here:
Lotus Esprit 08 - Dewinged, 500~600 hp.
Stanced Sileighty - Dewinged, 350~400 hp.

You forgot the Toyota 7 :sly:
It was a different category of historic race car, and I couldn't find anywhere to fit it.

I am actually trying to do something with the Toyota 7. I want to make a a Porsche 917/30 replica, but I can't get it to 1500 hp without trading its engine with one from a RedBull X2ks.

Trade secret  Seriously though, you can start by applying engine tuning, then a well selected turbo kit can give the needed power boost, maybe also add supercharger.

a well selected turbo kit

Beetle 1200 mid-range turbo, or Cerbera Speed 12 supercharger!

.. The beetle Mid-Range turbo boosted the Jaguar XJ13 motor to 1400HP with ONLY engine upgrade 1,2,3 and exhaust..

I put the turbo on a X1 and it boosted it to 3400HP, then I put the Supercharger from the Speed 12 on it also and it boosted it to about 5500hp.. So either one of those items add big horsepower!

Well since i don't know how to add hp to any of my hybrids, I might as well stick to making engine swaps ._. I need help for this hp thing.

I need a good hacked x1 I do have one but its very very bad handling wise I can trade over 1k cars and over 2k paints also have racing gear etc...

One of the easiest ways to make big power is to get the hidden item tickets, although the st.4/5 turbos don't do much for low rpm and are really only fun for top speed testing.

One tip to remember is that the body that you use is attached to the upgrades you can do. If you want high hp start out with a normal car that you can do all upgrades to, and put a race/ tuner car engine into it. For example, if you put the HKS CT230R engine into something like the 07 Mazda Roadster and you have all the options for upgrades, including turbo or supercharger.

See I'm making a replica of the Mclaren MP4/4 F1. And it used a honda engine. So after searching I found and listened to a Integra type r touring car. Sounds beutiful like a loud 90s F1. But each time i drop the engine in and put in you know what codes for hp, it won't stay at the certain number I want( 1000hp), it will show the 1000hp for the moment then when i race and then leave to make sure I have 1000hp, it goes back to default hp(300hp).

I am using the program I found on google If you know how to help, please email me at

piggysmalls20@gmail.com

Thanks

Still it all works on Multipliers.. Yes the Mazda would be good, or even most car would be good.. Some do fail though.. For example, a car such as the 69 GT40 starts a little over 400hp and maxes out around 550.. So it only has a gain of approximately +37.5% so throwing in a 500hp 2D motor will only gain you about 190hp..

Another example (good hybrid) .. Take a chevelle that starts around 420hp, maxed out it will be around 842, so it has a +100% gain in power.. So if you put an approx. 600 HP 2J motor in the chevelle you will end up around 1200hp (+100%) ..

..some things..

I missed what he put but if it was the name of a program, I do not think its a big deal considering you can look through this and other threads to see where people have also mentioned it, their post have not been removed.

Yes, but there's also swaps like the MP4-12C into the Type RA Subaru that can net you upwards of 2k hp. He must not have gotten his stuff from the source, I've asked some people who've made programs and they helped me out a lot.

The one that you can RM. Ask 07gsxr (add x's and stuff around his name). He's got the car now, and I don't remember the exact HP of it. All I know is it's a 8.5xx 1/4mi car. Probably faster with proper tuning.

Wow, must be some of the parts on it? I know that is why I recommend the beetle Mid-Range turbo.. It (essentially) doubles your horsepower like it does on the beetle.

I'm trying to borrow glitch the car back, but if I can't then I'm just going to see if I can make another one. If you go to the hybrid photo thread I've got a nasty corvette that'll run London in under a minute on sports hard tires. That's even drifting around several turns, and it only has the supercharger on top of the RM's normal parts. It's on share right now if you want to try it.

Nice 👍 I'm off to bed momentarily but I may take you up on that offer before too long :) .. Btw did you see my edit about that post that was edited? It's right above your where you asked him to remove it.

Oh, yeah. I haven't had too much luck in swapping upgrades to cars. I've been informed why it didn't work, but haven't tried it yet.
If you do add my psn, make sure you add the one in my sig

Okay, the Subaru is 1200hp, but with stage 5 weight reduction it's only 843kg
