Oh, yeah. I haven't had too much luck in swapping upgrades to cars. I've been informed why it didn't work, but haven't tried it yet.

I missed what he put but if it was the name of a program, I do not think its a big deal considering you can look through this and other threads to see where people have also mentioned it, their post have not been removed.

I've just made a Nissan GTR SpecV with a supercharger + super high RPM twin turbos - it has 1467 hp and could easily get to 300mph with better transmission tuning so I guess it's not exactly 'realistic'... then again, it's probably more realistic than an X1, so I'm going to class it as such.

I think that should be the criteria for realistic hybrids - if it's a more realistic prospect than the X1 (in terms of parts, price, application, performance, whether it's actually been made in RL before, etc.), then it's realistic.
 
Made a californa ferrari with F2007 engine, trannie, gearbox and suspension. 900Hp will share if anybody wants. Oh and F2007 LSD and standard chassis. Also a slammed trans-crammer with 1000Bhp.

I am introducing my "updated classics". My objective is to take classic cars from the 50s-70s all throughout the world and placing new parts in them. Ex. '10 LS3 V8 + 1970 camaro SS= Updated classic

Another ex. Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA 1600 + Alfa 8C 4.7L V8 + 8C suspension = updated classic. I have a trunk full of ideas and I will keep you guys updated.

I did something similar to one of my "personal" cars ;) .. Yes I have a few I hoard away to myself hehe... 1970 Transcammer with lightweight chassis swap. 1969 GT40 motor with Ford GT supercharger, ECU and EFI intake, Ford GT Test Car LSD, racing flywheel, and racing double clutched paddle shift transmission

Funnily enough I actually did the opposite recently, I put a Cammer engine inside the premium Mustang. Sadly the premium Mustang looks godawful for some reason and hence I stopped using it immediately after testing it.

That sounds pretty interesting, though. I'm intrigued as to what you'll come up with...
 
First project:

1971 lotus Europa special + 2002 lotus Espirit V8 + Espirit gearbox, suspension, LSD.

This will be a fun lightweight ride.

I've just done a nice little number similar to what Ranman is doing - Volkswagen 1200 with a 2007 Boxster S engine (well, slightly detuned RUF 3400S engine, it's as close as I can get).
... needless to say, 291hp in a car that weighs just 836kg (I took into account the extra weight of the engine) is mad.
 
I have a 2 (two) rb26 swapped silvia s15 with r34 gearbox, lsd, and HKS genki s15 chassis. looking for 8 suits and 8 helmets (diffrent kinds each).

one s15 is broken-in (630+ hp) and one is not broken-in (only 600ish HP) with only 980ish KG. But i like to put balast on mine till it reach 1100kg to make it more realistic and better drifting.

im planning on making a 2jz(supra engine) ae86 and 2jz gt86 and another s15 but this is for "stance" and is also using 2JZ, 4 of these maybe completed next monday.

2 projects done.


1. Lotus Europa special
Max 730hp// detuned to 500hp
Power source: Espirit V8
Handling: like a old muscle car.
Advice: make the front breaks 0 and back breaks 10. And stretch the transmission over 180mph so the car won't wheel spin in low gears.

2. Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint speciale
Max 750hp// detuned to 375hp
Power source: Alfa Romeo TI V6 DTM
Handling: since I equipped some Alfa DTM parts it handles like a f1 car. Throw some RS tires on it and your good. Once again to prevent wheel spin and bad breaking. Put breaks on Front- 0 and back-10. And set top speed over 170.

But overall this car is a beast. Handles like a miniature F1.
 
Just made what may be the greatest hybrid ever created - a Red Bull X2010 Prototype with the VTEC engine from the Civic Type R.
I call it... the 'SLIGHTLY CONFUSED'.
 
could anybody make me a challenger str8 with chassis swap and 1000 hp with engine swap from shelby cobra.

Power will come from a 3.5L twin-turbo V8( Nissan R92CP engine). I will try to fit R92CP parts on the dome.
 
I don't want to rain on the parade because I do them too. All this talk of the new a??s and details of swaps etc. is bound to get back to Sony/PD. If this keeps up you can count on another patch that sneaks in like 2.12 & 2.14.

Do you think it would be better to discuss these in a PM or exchange email addresses? Now that we are able to have some fun again I would think it would be better to keep this as quiet as possible. Since these a??s have been out for 2-3 weeks you can be sure that Sony/PD is aware and is probably working on a patch already. GT6 is still 3 months away and they are extremely anal about their online community. That is why they did the "updates".

That is what happened with the 2.12 patch. People were taking their ridiculous HP cars and running TT and Seasonals with their hybrids. Please keep these in game only. Don't even take them online to a Lobby. They watch what goes on online and if they see these new hybrids we'll get patched again for sure.

I am all for making and using them for fun. I do not take any of my creations online even if they meet the PP requirements. I am not saying to stop making them, just don't be so public about it. I have given the links for these a??s but only in email form. Out of necessity I learned how to hex edit. Now thanks to the new a**s you don't have to. But I agree to your message, why wake up a sleeping dog if we don't need to.
But I highly doubt they would put lots of effort in a battle for an old game.

But knowing PD, you never know!!

I think it may be a tad too late to hide two hugely popular threads from PD, plus I reckon they're going to be a bit more lenient this time around - remember how they stated that people who modified game data would be banned from GT5 online the first time, but they didn't really make a public statement at all after the 'hidden parts' era (the update didn't even remove the parts from the game data, it was most likely a temporary fix because the hidden parts were much harder to detect in race lobbies and so many people were complaining)

But it may be a good idea to use a different site to discuss these matters - maybe we could create a hybrids group on Steam or something (if there isn't one already)?

anyone have the AMS GT-R ??
or a GTR in the 1200-1400 HP range?

i've been trying to make one but always fails, cant go past 987 HP.. even with the hidden super high turbo... or can someone tell me what engine to use..

Haha hope some of those parts include the Fat Tires and some serious downforce or you are gonna have a BAD TIME :D ..
