As a follow up to this it did not work, sorry :( .. I even tried making it think it had wing downforce when it was gone and still did not work..
 
NP, I can't even get that far into making a hybrid. I just use the basics for now. I didn't think it would work, since the roof is essentially "attached" to the wing option.

It seems I will have a new toy to play around with tomorrow, while I recover from what appears to be either Ebola or the Bubonic Plague.
 
So I guess the hybrids still exist?

Would anyone be willing to make me a CSL with a 07 couple body on it?
 
That Caterham 7 Renesis is an absolute blast to drive. I'll have to see if I can't figure out how to dupe cars so I can put it up on share. Thanks jgancherjr!

I only wish I could use all of the tuning parts, so I could get it up to the ~500bhp my tuned RX-8 has.

What happens if you slam a Tank Car suspension on some lower cars?

The Tank Car suspension isn't actually that high, actually - I once tried slamming a Tank Car for laughs and the drop is only noticeable if you put it next to another Tank Car.
I'd probably go with Sambabus or Dodge Ram suspension if you want your car to be raised.

So, does that mean that any other car suspension will result to be looking lowered?

Something I've always fancied :)

Spoon CR-Z 4WD - 586BHP to 1172BHP

Acura NSX RM ’91 engine
Honda CR-Z TC chassis
Ford Focus RS WRC ’08 drivetrain and gearbox
Paint chip GT- Fluorescence 001-W

I tried around Grand Valley East with 586BHP and RS tryres and managed 1:01,760, although a tad twitchy I must say :nervous:

Anyway, enjoy it :)

Hey mate, I'm looking for a wide fit for my Spoon CR-Z Wider than that. So far i have the Re Amemiya Aspradrink and it's wide as but the wheel place is very off! If you could just PM me a hex code for a chassis that i'm looking for. If not then i will just take the chassis that you have right there. Just PM me both if possible. :sly:

How are people even trading hybrids? Is there some pseudo update that lets you keep said modded cars?

You can keep them, though there are now some changes by PD that made most ridiculous 10000HP+ rubbish impossible.

So I'd say PD did a good job at making the hybrid circle more healthy, which is now more inclined toward realistic or at least plausible mods.

You can unfortunately still make those high hp cars.

They were actually never patched, when the reset patch came, I guess it was on the next day or so when some guy already posted how to make 10k+ hp cars. It took quite a long time before part swapping tutorial came out(realistic hp cars).

So PD did bad job!

10k+ Hp = Have been possible all the time
Realistic added Hp = Made this harder to achieve
 
Why even patch it in the first place if you do such a crappy job on it. Sounds so...stupid. I mean...come on.

If anyone knows one, please PM me the Chassis/Code! Remember i'm looking for a wide fit that is good because so far i have the Re Amemiya Aspradrink and it's wide as but the wheel place is very off!

You can't ask for hex codes on GTP. If you know the CRZ TC is a good fit then use google or one of the various ways to figure it out 👍
 
Does anyone know if it would be possible to create a Stealth McLaren that the game doesn't recognize as such? I'm most interested in the chassis and downforce levels, but getting the entire car, model and all, would be quite awesome. I sort of fell in love with it when I got one of those tickets, but I have no interest in the hassle involved in using it repeatedly.

It's possible when you modify it directly to your save, but not possible throught ticket.

Well chassis swap and dowforce values are possible to be changed on normal McLaren and then trade/borrow glitch. But changing body will end up in exclamation mark(Unless directly modified to save).

It can be done but the chassis is about 40mm longer and 80mm wider.. I do recommend these chassis's as they should fit perfect. But it is up to you!
