Hybrid Trading Thread: READ 1st POST!

That is awesome is there anything that I can do to have one made for me? I will be a servant for one of those haha.

I made the car as requested - Miura with NSX Type R '02 chassis, drivetrain, and transmission - stock 6 speed. I also installed low rpm turbo with full boost that holds until redline , a lower full custom suspension - just perfect drop with highest setting, and wide range spring rate from less than 3 to 15+kg. Also added goodies like triple plate clutch, racing flywheel and racing catalytic converter - so the engine screams higher :D It will be on share once you have time to borrow it. Will post the car at hybrid showcase thread soon. Stock weight.

Tested at Road Course Motegi with 399HP - 326 ft lb torque ( turbo and sports exhaust - best sound ) and comfort soft - below 2:10 lap on a relaxed drive.

EDIT : The post ...

On request from Rosckolove :

Lamborghini Miura Twin Turbo SX 400+HP

Using stock engine - only a simple chassis and drivetrain swap - using NSX Type R '02 - basically the Miura is transformed to handle like an NSX :D Special custom suspension also installed allowing perfect drop even on highest ride height with wide range spring rate from less than 3 to more than 15 kg - better flexibility. The 6 speed transmission from the NSX also gets transplanted along with the ratio.

A special low rpm turbo is added with subtle power bump and full boost until redline :) The Miura also has added goodies like triple plate clutch, racing flywheel and racing catalytic converter. Sports exhaust fitted for the best sound experience - turbo spool and BOV.

Specs subject to change after test drive by the new owner :D

2nd pic is with highest ride height.

I need a suggestion. I want to change the engine of both the Toyota gt-one and the sauber C9. I need both engines to at leat pump out 350hp+ without tuning and they have to be able to use turbos.

Alright. Can someone help me out? I'm swapping in a High RPM Turbo from a Blitz Nissan Skyline (premium) into my VW Scirocco amongst other things (V12 Vantage chassis, M5 Drivetrain & LSD, Bentley Speed 8 Suspension), every time I do this, it says file corrupted. I know I'm swapping things in the right place, but I don't get why it keeps corrupting. Any suggestions?

@Ranman20, did you try using a Turbo from another car? Maybe Twin Turbo each engine?

Hey just putting it out there that on my share right now is a Pink Challenger '08 with R10 chassis and Oreca Viper engine. Stagea Autech with LM Edition skyline chassis and Gran Turismo Spec-II GT engine, a sweet Focus 170ST(4wd), '00 Megane(4wd also), and a funky '67 skyline. Its on my rs200freak(PSN) account name. So if you want them or want to try them out send me an FR. Gotta say the Megane came out better than I thought.

EDIT: Just wondering if someone can send me one each of the AE86's. Levin, Trueno and S.S., can't get TUTT to work and I already sent a car today. Thanks

Red Muira

Hey Ridox, is this Muira on share? I'd like to try it out, looks gorgeous and sounds interesting to drive.

I have a few engine and chassis swap cars on my shared list right now, I did them for a better sound generally, one that I think would suit each car if it was tuned in real life. Try them out and see what you think, you might need to adjust tyres and brake balance though, some of them have a drag setup on them. The challenger R/T '70 with a 2D engine sounds especially great, particularly when you rev macth on downshifts, sounds like a dragster.

Yes, it's on share, but the turbo has been removed upon request from the owner ( rosckolove ).

Hey I am looking for a Nissan GT-R (Premium) with a Veyron Engine (1200HP Aprox).

Does anybody have this type of car?

Any chance someone could make me an MX-5 Miata (whatever the newest premium one is)with an engine from the Mazda Furai? It would be much appreciated.

If you haven't figured it out yet, I like small cars with quick Wankel engines.

i can do the 1800HP GT-R and the MX5 within the next few days. i also have a driveable Negative PP Redbull but you need to use all assists on Full.

Do somebody can borrow glitch an Red Bull with Negative PP that is driveable?

'Driveable' is relative.
I have a -7k PP Red Bull and it's technically driveable... as long as you stay in 5th, start with a rolling start and don't crash, or you'll spend about 2 minutes trying to correct it.
(Hence why realistic hybrids are vastly superior.)

I've found that ASM makes those ridiculous X1's much easier to drive. I usually just swipe the first non-5G I can find on my friends list and use that for the Dream Car seasonal, when I need money. It's incredibly lazy, but effective.

In all honesty, if you're a modder and do realistic mods, a negative PP Red bull is rendered obsolete as you can

a) Make a car that is faster and specific for that event
b) Simply add credits to your profile. No need to spend hours in front of the TV grinding a race.

Thanks man, i´ve just sended the Friend Request so i can borrow those cars.

I usually just go with the "swipe the nearest non-5G" method out of a combination of incompetence and laziness. It still gets the job done, and the warp-capable Red Bulls are kind of fun to drive, at least in moderation.

By the way, no one got back to me on the Furai-engined '07(?) MX-5 Miata. I'd do it myself, but the last time I tried to create my own hybrid I broke an entire save file. I'd rather not repeat that....

Oh. That's understandable. About the saves, just make sure you have a back up AT ALL TIMES! Copy multiple back ups onto your desktop.

Regardless, I'd prefer if someone could simply send me one. Every time I try to tinker with my own save file, something goes horribly wrong. I'd be happy to repay whoever does it however I can.

I'll do it for you. What is the request?

The newest-generation premium Miata/MX-5/Roadster/whatever-the-hell-it-is, with the engine swapped to the Furai's three-rotor. That's about it. I quite like small, lightweight cars with overly-powerful rotary engines. The Renesis-powered Caterham that jgancherjr made for me a little while ago is among my favorite cars to drive.

Thanks. :)

So that's it? Strictly an engine swap, and nothing else?

Is there anything else worth doing (diff, drivetrain, etc.)? I basically want a car that drives like a Miata, but with a high-revving rotary with far too much horsepower under the hood.

Diff's, drivetrains, suspensions, transmissions, all up to you.
