Hybrid Trading Thread: READ 1st POST!

Yes, several times. I can't say they work all the time but when you get it right it is fun. I would stick to a low torque engine, may a Honda or a 13b. As for tranny go with something that has 5 gears, or put the 7-speed Swift tranny.

I will give it a shot. I think the high revving Honda beat engine would do perfectly.

Hi, can someone send me a hacked car.. My cars were destroyed due to patch, they dont work anymore. Nut someone please send me one

Not sure if my question was ignored or overlooked, but I'm looking for a car that still looks like a Mazda RX-7 Type RZ (FD, J) '93, but has others parts inside to make it behave more like a Mercedes Sauber (high but manageable HP, wider wheel base/lower ride/more downforce for more aggressive turning, etc.), for example. Anyone?

Anyone have a replica of the AMS GTR that I could borrow glitch from them? :)

I'm sure it can be made, I assume use a Sauber engine and then an RX7 LM chassis or something along those lines, that specific chassis should make it slightly lower and a little bit wider.

But I'm gonna assume there is a better chassis to use out there 👍

Just played around with a Vertigo Race Car and that thing handles like a dream (for how I like to drive, at least). Might have to mess with tossing that chassis in there.

If it fits..

Exactly! It's really hard to fit a race chassis to a normal car without it looking like crap. The rx7 tc chassis with the Mitsu 3000gt body on it, slammed and spoiler removed in chamelion orange paint @ 675hp or so is a match made in heaven. So to make the normal rx7 with a race chassis try to find a chassis that's not as wide but close to the same length.

Thanks for the input mates.

Did a lot of research and a bit of tooling around and came up with a decent ver. 1.0 for my Dream RX-7 Project:

Body: Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type A (FD) '02

Suspension: Honda S2000 LM Race Car
Drivetrain: TVR Cerbera Speed 12 '00
Engine: Amuse Carbon R (R34) '04
Chassis: Honda S2000 LM Race Car
Gearbox: Amuse Carbon R (R34) '04
LSD: RE Amemiya AsparaDrink RX7 '06

Aero Forced To: 105/135

I'd say I'm happy with the results, but I still see a lot more work to do... a few more parts to try, and then a lot of tuning. The chassis is the exact same length and just a bit wider, so it looks pretty cool. I like the Chameleon Orange body with Asphalt wheels and carbon hood (resembles the TC a bit, but not too much). I get some pretty sweet speed and some sparks flying around Daytona curves. If anyone would like to borrow, shoot me a FR and I'll put it up.

I've also been trying to get a Toyota Castrol TOM’S SUPRA (JGTC) ‘97 in some type of black (preferably like the Amuse Carbon R (R34) '04) without all the decals and whatnot. If anyone knows how to make this happen and would like to pass that info on to me, or make one for me to borrow, it would be immensely appreciated.

Not bad but the wheels look slightly odd but I can't comment, must be a ball to drive 👍

I think the database for wheel lengths is connected to the chassis swap list thread :)

I came across http://www.gtdata.net which has been extremely helpful.

The tires do look slightly odd in a close-up photo, but pretty cool when driving. And yeah, it's a blast! Especially since I realized my steering sensitivity somehow reset to 0, and now that I have it back at 7 my tuning is magically working again!:dunce:

Could anyone make me an FR Mazda 6 with 650-700hp?

Made you a Mazda6 Concept '01 with 774HP (you can go higher with upgrades). It doesn't show as FR, but I made sure it can enter the FR-only events. Send me a friend request, it's on share.

As long as you take it out on track and only the real wheels heat up via the tyre gauge on the bottom left then it's an FR :P

I saw this and thought it was an interesting mix. Then I saw your pics. They tell a different story with your chassis.
Take this as opinion or advice, maybe both, but the car in the pics doesn't look good.
The tops of the tyres are extruding through the wheelarches, and the chassis looks way too long. Try to keep the tyres under or inside the arches by experimenting with different chassis and playing with the camber.
A couple of links that you may find helpful...

Chassis Swap List for many tried and tested swaps.

Hybrid Database for a list of chassis wheelbases and track widths, (not complete, but useful).

The game seems to acknowledge all drive conversions made, and allows entry into these races.

Could anyone make me an FR Mazda 6 with 650-700hp?

I have a premium Mazda Atenza Sport 25Z, with a power range from 435bhp to 870bhp, with FR drivetrain if you're interested. On share @PSN Xainexus
Power is from Amemiya FD3S RX-7,
Chassis from Mustang GT V8 Premium
Drive, gearbox & LSD from the RX-7 Spirit R.
Running on sports soft with no downforce. Great fun to drive.

Yeah, the front tires are not pretty, and I'm still experimenting with different chassis. The problem is, the Honda S2000 seems to be the only one even close that can still hold the road. Right now it's the best compromise between "looking good" and "handling well" that I've found (you can't even see tire extrusion when driving in 3rd person), but my experimenting is far from over. Thank you for the reference material, much appreciated. 👍

The RX-7 LM Race Car chassis should fit the Spirit R giving about 100mm extra width, or the RX-7 Touring Car, which should give an extra 70mm(ish).

Also there are a few posts in the hybrid threads somewhere with links for some Googledocs made by GTP members giving wheelbase & track widths.

That said, trying & testing is part of the fun. 👍

I've got a 1200 hp Delorean I don't care for, if anyone is intersted, make me a trade offer.

I've also got a 24000 hp '08 Impreza, and a 1500 hp F-150. I'd consider trading the Impreza if anyone wants it.

I'm not interested in anything FWD.

It fits better, but there's still some extrusion when turning. Could be other factors contributing to that, but more importantly, it handles like garbage. Did manage to get some sweet drifts out of it, though!

Pics look good. I use the same chassis on my Spirit R drifter. Got a photo set being added to my gallery very soon. Drifts really well with the right tuning.

Quick question, I am trying to build a custom Audi Pikes Peak Quattro for a friend of mine, but after chassis swap ect. It still says cannot send because it's over 1 million. If I start with a sub 1 mil. Chassis and swap that body onto it, will I be able to send it? Thanks for letting me pick your brains!

The game seems to acknowledge all drive conversions made, and allows entry into these races.

It acknowledges it but, it does not say it's an FR. I do FF to FR conversions all the time, but it only shows it as an FF. So, I can enter a restricted lobby, but when I switch out of it, the car won't appear as an FR.

Just what I was looking for, thanks:tup:

Yeah, I believe that will work. The game seems to retain the original base model's name and core info, which I'd guess would include price. Only one way to find out for sure... let us know how it works out!
