This car looks amazing, I really like the LMP VGT cars, they best portray that futuristic look I like. PD do an amazing job with their picture and video releases, Monaco here looks as if it has dynamic lighting.

I agree, this picture make me 'woah PD updated Monaco' but then I saw other screenshot and its same... :(

Yeah.. the one flaw on the entire thing. Everything else is smooth in the close-up shots.
I mean... come on, its not normal to always try to look at minor graphics flaws, if it isnt searched on purpose no one notices

The N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo is billed to have a power-to-weight ratio that matches some of the most exotic supercars out there and it also has a powerful soundtrack thanks to the air blower's turbine that spins at 200,000 rpm which generates a "distinct racecar roar."
:eek:WOW! 200,000 RPM!! My mind can't even comprehend that kind of speed!! Can't wait to hear it!

"I mean think about it: the memorable, attractive concept cars that appeared within the last few years." Sasha continues. "From Mazda, Nissan, Infinity, they're all Vision Gran Turismo cars. We think it's a great honour for us to be part of that movement."

Bugatti is really enjoying being part of Vision GT for sure.
Also props for them to give honor to the others who joined VGT!

All of the tracks have dynamic lighting, essentially. It doesn't matter if the time changes or not. You save some cycles by keeping the shadows static (like at Monaco) but the lighting system being used on every track is the same. The shadows are rendered real time so it's a dynamic system (like at Nurb, Midfield, LeMans, etc, where the shadows move with the sun). They don't switch to a pre-baked lighting model for tracks like Monaco. That's one of the reasons why GT6 is slower than GT5.

Yet GT5 also had that on plenty of tracks...

They also went with pre-rendered shadows on a lot of them to save cycles. I think the move to a new renderer was silly. They should have saved it.

Anyway, back on topic. 200,000 RPM air engine...:rolleyes:

Anyway, back on topic. 200,000 RPM air engine...:rolleyes: So it's another piece of hopeful tech like the SRT or the Chapparal.
No. The engine is a 670hp dual hydrogen fuel cell and a 201hp electric motor.

The "air blower" is... a turbo. There's no reason I can think of that a very small turbo can't spin at 200,000rpm.

Gotcha...Thank god it's not a billion horsepower

I just wish it handles realistically according to the 970ish kg, it must be a good rival for the Lm55 on spec, bothing having about the same power-weight.

In a way I hope it handles as fast if not a bit slower than the LM55, it just makes sense, although I have yet to see what kinds of venturi tunnels they utilize, and realising the Mazda LM55 doesn't have much considering diffusers, it would be a very interesting battle, I just hope they were somewhat made for eachother.

If I dont't make snese, then I'm tired and blabbering, coz thats what I do best when I'm tired.

Its same turbo speed as modern F1 car...

Looks like we are getting an interior! ;)

Come to think of it, the Hyundai is supposedly 5 years ahead of the Mazda LM55, as the Mazda is based around 2020 tech, and the Hyundai is based around possible 2025 tech.

I know it isn't but wouldn't it be cool if that central fin was clear polycarbonate, (or something similar) with the name Hyundai illuminated.
Every time I look at the motor show pictures, I think it is. Trick of the light and all that
