I like how its adjustable because it was a total pain the *** to find the right spot on my rig I built out of wood. I keep swaping from CSP to the G27 pedals if I want to play GT5 so a mount I could adjust for both is just what I need.

Talk about a Legos for grownups! If I had access to their goody box the things I could build. Ingenuity is indeed the mother of invention. Great job and fantastic looking! Now all you need is some Centerlines and a cup holder...

Nice to see you're getting on well with your new wheel.

Any news of the shifter? Is there a sequential mode, too?

Hey Jogo,

Awesome Rig. How easy is it to take it apart and put it away from storage? I'm looking to build a racing rig soon but I'm not able to leave it out in the entertainment room all the time so I will have to put it away when it's not being used.

Cheers,

BD.

You've got stitched bag for your rims? As well as covers for pedals, wheel and chair? Nice touch!
I think your rig is more sturdy than my rSeat and looks nicer too because of its minimalistic design.

I need to figure out what the readyfe or something is though. Google here I come. lol

Thanks Logi!
The Wheel bags I had made. I got the chair cover for $10, I posted a thread about it a while back.
The pedal and wheel covers are actually old IKEA footstool covers I had no more use for. :sly:

No need to google readyfe, he's a GTP member!
I was referring to the dashboard his father made for his rig.
The link to it is in this thread's updated OP.

I guess I could make my own. I'd just need some nice fabric. The tools for stitching those letters are already integrate in our stitching machine, which is almost fully automatic.

I will check the OP for the dash. I will need some references for my own.
I am currently looking for wood bending techniques to reproduce the center console of a McLaren MP12C, though I wish to integrate the TH8 and hydraulic handbrake too. So it won't be a 1-on-1 thing.

Very well thought–out design Steve, that double supported wheel deck is a great piece of enginering. 👍

I really love the wheel bags too. :)

Nice work Steve

Christiaan thin sheets of plywood, glue, clamps and laminate them together into the shape you want mate.

Couldn't help myself...had to go with a matching dead pedal again... :dopey:

Steve your rig just keeps looking better all the time. I was going to mount a dead pedal then I thought against it. I use my clutch for everything, even the DP and cars where it's not needed, so I thought against even installing a dead pedal.

I did try some ovals with the Gen 6 cars the other day and I wished I had a dead pedal :) I'm going to be putting in a lot of work this summer to my rig and a dead pedal is planned, thanks for the inspiration Steve. </thumbsup>

Yeah Simon has a great rig as well, I've raced with him at iRacing before. He is another one of the good guys. :)

The only pedals I could use is one of the Fanatec pedals they supplied in there pedal kits? or I guess I could build one out of steel easy enough. I do have basic metal tools, welder, drill press, abrasive cut off machine.

BTW I like your dead pedal, looks awesome.

Yes, there are a few options I have at my disposal. I might even just make one. I need to rebuild my CSP, I talked to Fanatec yesterday, so will see if they have some parts for me. I just might be getting rid of my CSP's if they don't have parts for me.

I was hoping DSD had his pedals ready but that might be some time yet. I have seen some real nice builds over at iRacing lately. I have a ton of work to do on my rig this spring but I just want to get out and play in nature. LOL
