Lol, I'm sorry I can't help myself.

Just to be clear, you're running turbocharged 4 cylinder, 4 wheel drive Japanese cars and calling it V8 Supercars?

Maybe I'm crazy, but isn't that a little odd? Why not call it I4 Turbo Supercars?
After more thought, I decided to take your idea :).

Other updates:
The Holden vs. Ford monicker is dropped for the more natural Mitsubishi vs. Subaru.
2 race events give out 1.5x instead of double.

First post! Yay!

I'm quite interested in this series (even though I would probably end up in a wall somewhere and broken), so count me in! I'll pair up with anyone that's interested.

Welcome :).

@MatheusBond Sorry about it but I felt like making it more suited to Australians.

Interested, but curious as to why:
a) You're running with "weak" slipstream rather than "real".
b) The Evo is so much lighter and more powerful.

1. Has PD change the coarse of Slipstream???.
2. I tuned down the Subaru because even though it is heavier and has less HP originally it is still fast :scared:. However, I think I overdid the power drop so I need to look more in the Subaru.

First Andrew steals my idea of a 2000's touring car series, and now you've managed to take another.. maybe I'm not all that crazy

I'm keeping an eye on the thread :)

There is now a "real" setting which basically does away with the arcade like draft of GT5, though it's still reasonably easy to pass on long-ish straights through drafting.

I haven't tested the cars yet, so it might be fine, it just seems like a pretty sizable margin. :)

Well then real it is :).

If you see problems with the Subaru, let me know :)👍.

Random coincidence .

Well then, me and AboveMeIsCool will team up with each other in a Blue and Purple Subaru.

Would love to enter this, but can only race on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursdays, so will wait to see what gets announced before committing a team.

Well, crap. This will be at about 4:00 AM for me! I'd probably fall asleep and not move off of the starting grid! I'll stick it through though. :P

Anyway, as you didn't specify what level of Tire Wear/ Fuel Consumption, may I ask what level is it going to be set to?

Want get back into online racing and join but am very aware that connection may be a problem with lots of Australians in this.

So I'll tentatively say that I'll enter, car choice pending testing.

This is at 10:30am GMT then right?

EDIT: After much testing I've decided to go with the Mitsubishi. The Subaru is much easier to drive, much more neutral in its handling and definitely the better car out of the box, but I feel that with tuning and practise the Evo has potential (got down to a 2:03.731 at Bathurst). Plus I'm a sucker for straight line speed. :D

I think it'll have better connection than GGTs Multi-country connection.

Welcome. I'll put you in the OP.
