I voted "other". Forget Lambos, I'd much rather have classic and more modern Australian cars.

I voted weather and day/night cycles. Even so, damage comes a very close second for me as it would change the way Gran Turismo is played (specially online), people would see other cars as something you gotta be very careful with and not as moving spots to lean on. Walls would be at last scary, and tracks like London would make more sense.

1. Weather & day/night cycles - This would make for some EPIC 24h races at the Nurburgring, La Sarthe & Daytona! (And hopefully Spa...)

2. Porsche & Lamborghini - We need Porsche's extensive racing history to be represented. And of course the Countach rocks. I still turn my head every time I see one...Let's see PD's favorite car do that once.

3. Damage - Mainly because it's standard in every racing game. Let's face it, we're going to be playing GT5 well beyond 2010 and racing without damage is very 90s.

Definitely weather and day/night effects to bring out the realism in those 24-hour races.

Damage would be awesome, but I just have to go with day/night cycles and variable weather.

Variable weather has long been overdue. In GT1-GT4, tracks were too static... each track just had one absolute condition, and frankly, it was really annoying. I want to be able to drive on any track under any weather condition (within reason... no tornadoes!).

And day/night is simply needed. Really killed the realism of the endurance races of past GT games. Plus, I'd like to be able to race on tracks at whatever time I please. Tracks of past games were just always day or always night... kinda lame.

And drunk driver simulator would also be funny :D

THIS. Only if the game ships with the tagline, "Friends let friends drive drunk."

As per reality: I voted for day and night cycles. But that's not something I would choose over realistic crash physics. I don't care so much about damage, so long the bumps and rubs do what they should do to the balance of you and the other car contacted with, AI or not.

I would just take private rooms and race chat! I don't want to go and buy a router, and have to set it up. I'm the super noob when it comes to computers and stuff like that.:dunce:

1- Porsche and Lamborghini
2- Better Rally events (ie. Stages instead of circuits)
3- Better customizablity *Exterior: splitters, spoilers, functional parts.
*Interior: different fabric, colors (to what the actual manufacturer's have)
*Mechanical: the ability to buy cars with manual transmission. (ie. Ferrari F430 is only flappy paddle, should have Manual 6spd option aswell.)
