Congrats TB. You have a couple of great lookin' kids! Glad to hear everyone is doing fine!

TB's wife: "Baby, you stopped my heart. Woaaaahh-oooooh *showtunes*"

Okay, enough of the nonsense. It's good to hear that everything turned out fine in the end.

Wow, I’m glad your wife survived death. Congrats on the child, too! 👍
As Famine once said, "Isn't that an oxymoron?"

But congrats on the new boy TB. 👍 Glad to hear the whole family is doing well.

Thanks again, guys.

The bad part was I wasn't even in the room when my wife crashed. They brought her into the operating room and said they'd come and get me after she was prepped. 35 minutes later the nurse comes back in and says that there was a problem. Her heart rate spiked when they were doing the spinal so they gave her something to bring it back down. Apparently they gave her too much, but I'm not sure. When me wife came to, the first thing she said she heard was that the doctor needed epi to get her heart going again.

By the time I got into the room, She was doing better and the baby was already being cleaned up. Granted, I don't know how I would have reacted to her crashing, but it would have been nice to have been in the room.

Glad everyone came out ok. Congrats on the new son. Man, seems everyone is having babies but me...Just how I like it! For now...:sly:

The day has finally come and gone. Seth was born on December 16. My wife had to have a cesarean section because he was breech.

Son and mom are both doing fine now.
He looks like a strong, healthy guy. Congratulations to all parties concerned! Good to see you back at the 'Planet to bring us all up to date.

Best wishes to your whole family!

Congratulations man, that is brilliant, remember a baby is for Life and not just for Christmas!!!!

Merry Christmas and a fantastic New Year - which is already happening :D

Well that boy of mine is now one year old, so I figured I throw some pictures at ya'. Don't worry. I won't subject you to this every year. :)

The new face of CF:

Good looking boy, TB! It's unbelievable how the year went by, huh? Pretty soon, he'll be 7, in school and with his own "best buddies" and you'll wonder how quickly it went by. Enjoy these times with your boy, TB, they wont last for long, but they'll be more along the way!

Thanks, everyone. :)

@Solid - I'm still can't believe that my other son is almost 3. He'll be going into preschool soon. :scared:

I'm already seeing a shift in toys - from big, noisy, blinky light ones to smaller, noisier, blinky light ones. Now I'm just waiting for them to be old enough to buy a lego Mindstorm set. :D

And then you turn around and your daughter is less than 2 years away from her license...

Congrats. TB! He's a handsome lad.

Dude,
I'll tell you from personal experience, make sure those Lego's get picked up completely when the little guy's done with them.
If you step on one in the middle of the night, you will be teaching that very cute little guy a bunch of words you don't want him repeating.

My girl missed having the same birthday (minus a year of course), by 41 minutes.

Funny you should say that. We've been picking up toys every night with our oldest (Thing 1) for the last year or so. Within the last week, Thing 2 has decided to start helping. He crawled over to a Duplo block picked it up, crawled over to the bucket and put it in. After he realized there were no other Lego's around him, he took it out of the bucket, dropped it on the floor, picked it back up and put it in the bucket. Good stuff.

Actually, he was born on the 16th, not the 28th, so it was a bit more than 41 minutes. :)

Excellent, I hope they keep it up. Duplo's are WAY worse to step on than Lego's. Only thing I've ever stepped on and thought I was mortally wounded, and drew absolutely no blood.

You should have waited a few years....as soon as they form a coherent sentence, they will annoy each other. :grumpy:

Not entirely true. Of my six boys, only two excel at annoying any of the others.
My eldest (21) actually still finishes the second's (20) sentences.
My youngest is only truly annoying because he is the only true extrovert of the bunch, and he likes to be the center of attention, even if it isn't good attention.:)
The fifth is annoying if he can't get out and expend some energy. But that is offset by the fact that he is the most helpful around the house.

That little baby is now a 10 year old little man. *wipes tear*

I damn well better not jinks it by saying this but words can not express how ecstatic I am with how healthy he's been. I know that at some point he's going to have Cystic Fibrosis related complications but for the time being, all is good.

And his almost 12 year old brother. Who's closing in on being taller than I am. :grumpy:

Yes, yes, thread dig. Bite me.
