I still think it is stupid. People need to indemnify the damage they have done to their own properties cuz the insurance. If they don't have enough money, well they could lose their cars by having them towed away or you could go to jail.

Besides, some stupid drivers crashing to other people's vehicles must have been into drugs or they are just too reckless. If they ever did that to my car when I'm 18 or older, I oughta b*tch chop their insane asses.

SR780: Sorry to hear about your wreck. Glad that you're basically okay. Not all 16-year olds are idiot drivers. My oldest son (17 yoa) drives like a little old lady. If anything, he tends to drive too slow. He'll also go right when he wants to go left and turn around at the intersection, because it's safer. I have five more to teach, I'll do my best with them.

Maybe wearing out shoe leather instead of radials will get his attention.
As for the replacement. If you can afford a Stealth or 3000GT go for it. Part of their appeal for me is the weight. Let 'em hit that joker and do signifigcant damage to their own car., instead of you. Or if you really want a "bank vault" to drive consider an older, larger "muscle car" Like a Cutlass W30 or Chevelle. Then you will have 2-tons of sturdy steel on your side.
Bimmer, A guy in a Volvo hit me from behind while at a stop light. I was in my '92 Escort GT. He only had about 10 feet to accelerate and that is about the hardest I've ever been hit. The Volvo didn't have a scratch on it. He messed up the fancy GT bodywork on the a$$ end of my 'Scort. In the Volvo you will usually have the advantage. Still, be careful.

tell me about it I have no car to drive and I've got a date tommarow night with this really hot girl and I have no way to pick her up. Oh well i guess she could drive.
Also I still hurt. My fingers feel worse and my shoulder was feeling better but I tried to play hockey today to get my musles lose and to get outta the house. But I just hurt now from it all though i made me feel good for a while cause I was being active.

My fingers aren't to badly broke. One I think isn't broke cause i can barely move it.
when I play hockey I'm the goile. Well that wasn't the best postion. but i taped up the metal thing around my finger and manged to get my hand in a slightly modded blocker. Then we played.
I don't know if I'm in shock. I'm pretty pissed off though.
