well, i just downloaded a 700mb file from this one "program" and was getting a pretty constant 230kb/s-250kb/s

heres what i pulled on broadbandreports.com

I remeber when i got broadband, no silly dialing up ****, i just clicked the "e" and i watch as the page loaded faster than i could say awesome! Thats was a great day. I still remeber comming home from school and seeing the cable truck in are driveway and the guy playing with wires in the basement then saying "that should do it!" I was like heaven on earth.

i hear ya...didnt mean to rub it in your face or anything, im just so excited Its already starting to poison my mind too....if i download somthing now and get like a rate of 35 kb/s or somthing im like what is this crap??? haha, god i wouldve killed for a rate like that on dialup. broadband pwnz me now

yeah man, i soo wish i could get rates at even 35kb/s on dialup on files and pictures and whatnot, but the only time i see rates lke that is on text files ( i got like 40kb/s when downloading that ascii matrix cutscene thing, and damn i was like dude, we should get broadband, and aslo again when i was downloading, some err... music that was dead sound
