An under-appreciated body style imo; definitely the one I'd get if I were ever in the market for that gen Impreza. Also thanks for shouting out a great road! That's the Skyline Drive of Virginia, right? Looks like fun on Maps. I'm always noting good roads and interesting places to check out in each state for my future road trip plans in the wagon.Hi, I'm new here so I figured I'd share my car here, since it's would've been considered an import back in the day.
2002 Subaru Impreza WRX, also known as the Bugeye. It's really fun to drive around, especially on Skyline Drive in the Appalachians.View attachment 1222212View attachment 1222214View attachment 1222213
Thanks, I really love the look of them, more than the blob and especially the hawkeye. Wish they featured in more games, but I get that the bugeyes are less popular. An under-appreciated body style imo; definitely the one I'd get if I were ever in the market for that gen Impreza. Great look for a classic Audi. I hope it's on bags ;-)
One of the few K-swaps that doesn't annoy the hell out of me, I love this build. Been following the series on YouTube (StanceWorks, for those unaware) since he first got the car and pulled the V8. Definitely worth watching every video if you're into fabrication. "1000hp" is just a number he wants to hit on the dyno for laughs, and a little to prove a point to the purists. The car will be running on track with somewhere around 600hp. It's for time attack (hence the swap: lightweight + huge, reliable power for relatively little money), but he's not trying to be super competitive, just having fun.Ferrari 308 with 1000hp Honda K-24 swap.
I love that kind of wraparound rear window, like on the 1977-'79 Chevy Caprice 2-door and the 1977-'78 Olds Toronado XS.
Haha, last place I EVER expected to see pics of a mexican Mallibu Rallye in. I've seen that car. Pretty minty.
