Assuming they're turbocharged, there are plenty of people who modify Saabs and Volvos. There are B230FTs with 2-3-400 horsepower. I've seen Volvo 850s that LOOK stock on the outside, but have turbocharged 5-cylinder motors that would make a Ferrari Enzo look like it left it's handbrake on. I've seen 300+ horsepower Volvo S80s. There are plenty of modified Saabs out there, I'm sure.
